This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

We pray today for all of the members of Your Body here in our United States of America. We include, particularly, those You called into public service, but also those smaller members who can change lives one at a time. We bring to Your remembrance what You have said in Your Word and thank You for fulfilling it.
** 2 Corinthians 1:12 (AMPC): It is a reason for pride and exultation to which our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world... with devout and pure motives and godly sincerity...by the grace of God (the unmerited favor and merciful kindness by which God, exerting His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, and keeps, strengthens, and increases them in Christian virtues
**2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (AMPC...For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
** Philippians 1:6 (AMPC): And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
** Matthew 5:16 (AMPC): Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
We know, Holy Spirit, that You are faithful to develop us as You said You would. We here cannot speak for every member of Your Body, but we present ourselves to be corrected and useful vessels for You. Our prayer for ourselves here and desire for others is: Acts 4:29-31 (AMPC): And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly, While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.
We expect in our homes and congregations to see You do this for Your glory: "And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage."
Thank You, Father, for Jesus. We long to see Your Kingdom come and it is in His name we agree together.

Father God, we thank You for providing us with President Trump and Vice President Pence who revere Your Word and defend Your people. Lord, we ask that they may have victory in the next election, and that this nation have more years and opportunity to repent, be restored in You, and to share the Good News. If it is Your Will, dear Lord, that we may have a revival of Your Holy Spirit in this land. We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
