What Is Better, Catholic or Protestant? Francis: Both of Them Together
The Youth Pastoral Office of Magdeburg diocese, Germany, will organize an October 2020 ecumenical pilgrimage for young people to Rome.
The motto of the journey is With Luther to the Pope. A similar trip was already taken in 2016.
The pilgrimage is co-organized by the regional Protestant State church, although the Protestants repudiate pilgrimages.
On the trip's webpage Mit-Luther-zum-Papst.de, the tour operator, Hans Höffmann, remembers what Pope Francis said to the participants of the 2016 pilgrimage when asked by a youngster: "What is better, Catholic or Protestant? Francis answered in German: "Both of them together!
Martin Luther attended school in Magdeburg as a boy. As a preacher, he led the city to defect from the Church. Magdeburg became the first major city to publish Luthers writings.

Read the tenth chapter of John’s Gospel; is Jesus a brush or wooden gate? Twist the Scriptures some more, you might actually twist around enough to find The Truth. Don’t take the MArk of the Beast.

And satan asked ...
The Christ In The Throne Room in Heaven does not draw life from blood, so you are immediately spewing false assertions. IF you were familiar with the Scriptures issued by The Spirit, you would know that Jesus does not draw life from blood in the Glorigfied state He now IS.

That’s a try ... but PeeWee Herman does that routine better. Wanna try the ‘Mom, he’s looking at me. Make him stop!’?

The distortion in the way you express this, results from not seeing the whole picture Its the Six Blind Men and the Elephant again.<>
I'll post the writings from Roman Catholic "doctors" later today. You know I have them.

Which is why He said, “Eat.”

Take care if you intend quoting from a DR Bible. That rendering twists passages, like 1 Cor:51, where the Catholic Bible inserts ‘not’ in the wrong place to change the meaning and message to create a gap for lies to be swept into the meaning.

Your ignorance can be fixed, but the arrogance of assuming to teach when you don't know the Truth of the Gospel is astounding!
The Risen, Glorified Jesus does not draw Life from blood, so you cannot be getting the blood of the Risen Jesus in the magic wafer your priest feeds to you, thus you are not ingesting eternal life at Mass. Your assertion of ingesting the body, blood, and divinity of The Risen Glorified Jesus is a blasphemy.
1 Cor 15:50 I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:
Death is swallowed up in victory.
55O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?

1 Thess 4:13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

No. just that He nowhere says this is included in communion. He was very specific about Body and Blood. I take him at His word and do not add to it.

Your belief here puzzles me. If you believe "Body and Blood" but not--- definitely
not -- "soul and divinity" --- not at all --- doesn't that render Him neither a live human, nor the Living God?
No soul= not a living human
No divinity- not the Living God
We say He is True God and True Man. But: with no soul ad no divinity: well, that sounds like neither.
Sound like not Communion, but cannibalism: corpse parts.
That, I do NOT believe.

Which is why He said, “Eat.” No, but when one is overtaken byRome-blindness, they carry prebelief in something that isn't in the text and can see only that.
In theological circles we speak of eisegesis to describe this phenomenon.
noun, plural eis·e·ge·ses [ahy-si-jee-seez] .
an interpretation, especially of Scripture, *that expresses the interpreter's own ideas, bias, or the like*, rather than the meaning of the text.

And in context, do this in remembrance of me.
This is a result of salvation, not a means of salvation.

I say "Neither" if "Protestant" means "Infant baptism saves you, but through more sinning you can lose your salvation.""Protestant" doesn't mean that. "Protestant" means once "saved", always "saved" according to some posters on this forum.
