Please pray for pax_et_bonum's Aunt Peggy.
She’s like a mother to me.
She had a heart attack and is in icu.
Doctor gives her a 50-50 chance of survival.
I'm very upset. Not ready to lose her.

I am sorry to hear about your Aunt Peggy.
I remember the words I heard from Dr. Johny Hunt regarding these situations.
For the believer whose family member is a believer in Christ, we will be with them longer than we will be without them. It does not take away the pain of loss, but offers hope and comfort we will be re-united with our loved ones for an eternity.
Pax thanks you for all of your kind prayers. Please continue praying for Aunt Peggy and all those facing terminal illness, may they be comforted by our Lord Christ Jesus' promise of eternal salvation.

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear of Aunt Peggy’s heart attack. Of course, I hope for a complete recovery, but if G-d is really calling her home, may her journey to Heaven be peaceful and painless, surrounded by her loving family.

The first look directly into the face of our Risen Savior in eternity and all our sadness and grief will melt away as if they never were. Your loved one will experience that soon. The rest of us may have to wait a little longer but what a merry meeting we can look forward to. Our God delights in surprising and delighting His precious children who He redeemed at great cost. May we all see Him face to face soon. And may He sustain you in your times of grief until then
