O B E D I E N C E…T O…T H E…S P I R I T

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Son of man, say to her: ‘You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.’
 The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured people; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst.
 Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.
 Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain.
 Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord had not spoken.
 The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger.
 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.
  Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.

P R A Y E R

Father God,
Gracious Redeemer, Omnipotent Provider, Source of All Truth, we worship You!

Help us, Lord, to achieve our dreams of restoration in this nation through obedience to Your will for each of our lives. Of ourselves, we can do little; but following the promptings of the Holy Spirit, You can use each of us to accomplish Your plan.

Like children, we want to go our own way. As a loving parent, You feel anger at our disobedience, which quite deservedly brings about harsh consequences. Speaking of our nation, the disobedience of the Sixties’ Youth Rebellion is now being visited on our children and grandchildren, and generations to come, unless You relent, Lord.

In sorrow, then, we lift up for Your correction and healing of our nation’s lawmakers wherever they have failed, dear Lord. Hear our intercession for our President, Vice President and Administration, that your anger against abortion, sexual immorality, treachery, greed, and flouting of the Law may be turned aside in time for a new generation to return to You in humility and obedience.

Lord, our President and those who elected him do want to build a wall. You have searched and found such a man; but the Deep State seeks to thwart his efforts to return this nation to its moorings. We humbly beg Your intervention in their evil plans, that the flood of wrongdoing may be reversed.

We ask Your protection over our first responders, our military, those in government and those preparing to take roles in government. Enliven the Christian universities, Lord, and widen their pathways into churches, government, business and media. Let support pour into the organizations of the faithful, and may angels protect them from harm as they prepare to rebuild a God-fearing nation on the ashes of cultural marxism. Silence political correctness wherever it is heard, in favor of Truth. Yet not our will, but Yours be done.

May we as intercessors by our prayers and our example help those who would lead our nation into obedience to Your Spirit in all things, O Lord we pray,

Our nation is in need of You.
