This is speculation and not LDS scripture. Although, I agree with the possibility.
You need to understand that there is doctrine, and speculation .... some which may very well be inspired.
Do you actually believe that everything that there is to know about God is contained in the Bible?
I assure you, that there are a great many things that we do not know that we will be amazed to learn once we are (hopefully) back in his presence.
You and I (and Philip) cannot 'see' God The Father Almighty except where He intersects our limits of sensing ... as JESUS. Until you awaken to truth you will not comprehend that, but that is what JESUS told Philip.
Based upon WHAT?
Nobody ever claimed that or implied that, so stop putting words in people's mouths.
Even when we are perfect and in heaven forever, we will never know all there is to know about God.
BUT that does NOT give anyone license to make things up and pass them off as Scripture or divinely inspired.
So, are you implying, then, that the additions that Smith made to the Bible ARE everything there is to know about God?
Do you actually believe that everything that there is to know about God is contained in the Bible?
Everything necessary for salvation - eternal life in the presence of God, and everything necessary for Christian maturity.
