Nobody ever claimed that or implied that, so stop putting words in people's mouths.
Even when we are perfect and in heaven forever, we will never know all there is to know about God.
BUT that does NOT give anyone license to make things up and pass them off as Scripture or divinely inspired.
So, are you implying, then, that the additions that Smith made to the Bible ARE everything there is to know about God?

The Changes and Additions to which you refer are to be found in the 'Inspired' Version: the JST - Joseph Smith Translation.
And after ALL the work that JS did in recording the changes that GOD told him to make; the leadership in SLC does not consider it to be 'scripture'!
My guess is that in the HURRY to flee the deadly EXTERMINATIONORDER the document got left behind with the OTHER Mormons who did NOT flee. The ones who became the RLDS folks. (Who have changed THEIR name to Community of Christ.)
