I invite you to live your faith with great freedom, never believing that there is a single form of political commitment for Catholics: a Catholic party, the pope told a delegation of young Latin Americans from the Academy of Catholic Leaders Monday. A Catholic party no longer works.

This disaster of a Pope is more concerned with social engineering than saving souls.
Pope Francis would vote Democrat probably.
He means abortion is only one tiny matter.
He needs to resign.
Infallibility.
The Catholic hierarchy and demcrats are joined at the hip. They cant just walk away. Sounds like another diversion tactic.
If Francis believes there is no such thing as a Catholic party it must be because he believes ALL parties are Catholic parties. Why would he pressure our representatives to cave to his view otherwise?
“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has no Catholic right to be granted Communion, said the leading cardinal of the highest court at the Vatican.”
This happened months after the elevation of Francis. The issue was Pelosi’s VIEWS, her thoughts. Now, this was over abortion, but looking at our world gone mad, and the pope’s insane views on borders for me but not thee, what do you suppose the likelihood is that the church is continuing to twist arms like they did with Pelosi?

I take this to mean the Pope has given politicians the okay to be for infanticide.
There are a hundred more, but the point is what is in scripture is religious doctrine, not politics. I used to be in a church that gave me opportunity to speak now and again from the pulpit. They had reservations when I would mention some subjects, but the point was I used verses verbatim to make my points and they had trouble refuting what I said. Killing a child is NOT a difference of opinion in politics but plainly murdering innocent blood. I can't believe church liberals even entertain sodomy in the church. Corinth had sin in the pews and Paul said to turn them out to the devil. He was astounded that they were proud of being liberal and understanding of a man sleeping with a his step mother and being proud of it. Romans 1-32 speaks of a bunch of sins and if you approve of said sins, you are guilty of the sines even when you haven't done them. ( I would never have an abortion, but I don't want to stop a woman that needs one)....guilty!
The plain truth is the Bible speaks of a One World Government coming that will be evil incarnate. To deny it will be implemented through government is putting your head in the sand. These people apparently need to be told every week that if you support sodomy, you are going to burn in hell. It's not a choice on the cafeteria menu. Abortion and sodomy should be settled belief by the church body.
.....”what is in scripture is religious doctrine, not politics”......
Well it certainly is politics as well.....Jesus before Pilot and other situations throughout the written word attests clearly to the political nature of the times.
......”The previous Popes didnt spend all their time talking political agendas like the current one”.....
Well yes they did....they always have... but it was often kept below the radar of the press. Why do you think leaders of countries always pay a visit to see the Popes.....they recognize clearly the available wealth and political nature of the catholic church ‘leadership’....unfortunately the membership doesn’t see it.
He speaks to Catholic parties that existed in Europe in the past like the “Christian Democratic Party” in Italy for example.
“Often kept below the radar” is the operative difference. Of course everyone has a political bias, but a spiritual leader is not a political one. This one is political, therefore not spiritual. I don’t think he even believes in God.
Pope John Paul II is rolling over in his crypt... His ‘politics’ helped eliminate the scourge of Communism from Europe, including from his home country of Poland.
Remember that rhetorical refrain... ‘Is the Pope Polish?’
I wish!
Francis bounced him out of that job forthwith, and Burke is now (some would argue) the head of the opposition against Francis.
However nobody has ever abrogated Burke's ruling. It's very firmly rooted in Canon Law, and it related to the crime of Eucharistic Sacrilege. The concept is that Mafia, murderers, abortion enthusiasts and suchlike commit sacrilege if they receive Holy Communion in a state of manifest, grave, unrepented public sin.
Both the Mafia-abortion persons, and the priest or whoever gives them Holy Communion, would be guilty of grave sacrilege.
99% of the Bishops are purely and simply disobedient to Canon Law in this grave matter. This is true horror.
There is only one place for you, Frank.
The place where monsters go.
The Decree Against Communism was in 1949, was it ever rescinded?
BS!!!
The church spewed all that non-sense in 2008 about BHO and how it was okay to support a candidate that didn’t hold sanctity of life above all else — The church told us that social justice trumped sanctity of life.
If that isn’t politics in the church then I don’t know what else to tell you — The church I currently attend and had to look for and go out of my to attend, it still holds sanctity of life, in particular the unborn, the most vulnerable as still front and center to the teaching of Jesus Christ.
If that is wrong then I most definitely need to find another religion.
