On the day of your birth your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water for cleansing. You were not rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths. No one cared enough for you to do even one of these things out of compassion for you. Instead, you were thrown out into the open field, because you were despised on the day of your birth. Then I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!” There I said to you, “Live!” (Ezekiel 16:4-6)

FATHER, as I read these words in Ezekiel, the context might not be as such, but somehow it touched my heart as it revealed Yours, and I lift up this prayer as I thought of the magnitude of little babies that are on the brink of birth, 9 months from conception, and yet can be tossed aside as if they did not exist. OH GOD, it’s so hard to say ~ legal abortion at 9 months ~ truly a day of birth, and no one in the judicial system caring enough for these little ones. No parent welcoming these little lives but despising their actions and escaping them through choice. LORD, it not for me to lay any burden on anyone, the pro-choice movement has affected even ones within my own family, with sorrow and tears that only eternity and God’s hand will be ever able to wipe away, but today, it’s not about that, it’s about the babies.

LORD, without getting to dogmatic on doctrines concerning the loss of children, we look at what you said, “LIVE”, “LIVE”, and we believe in the Mercy over the ones that are gone, and the GRACE to protect the ones on that path of pro-choice. Please LORD, we ask not so much for Mercy upon this fallen Nation right now, as we do upon the people involved these situations. LORD, speak to hearts. LORD, open eyes. LORD, breath life thoughts into the ones that are deciding. LORD, speak. We pray, for our Nation’s voice is evil on this matter. Please.

And now LORD, we pray for the life givers of our Nation. For our President and Vice President whose desire is to restore the heart of our Nation, we pray for our life and freedom fighters, our Military, our Police, our Firefighters, our First Responders, our Pastors, and LORD, we pray for our families and our children, that we will in earnest devotion live the Life of Christ in their presence and its through Him, who is the WAY the TRUTH AND the LIFE, we ask. Amen

until the wicked are destroyed.

he does not abandon the nation that belongs to him.

94:15 For justice will prevail,

and all the morally upright will be vindicated.

94:16 Who will rise up to defend me against the wicked?

Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?

94:17 If the Lord had not helped me,

I would have laid down in the silence of death.

94:18 If I say, “My foot is slipping,”

your loyal love, O Lord, supports me.

94:19 When worries threaten to overwhelm me,

your soothing touch makes me happy.

94:20 Cruel rulers are not your allies,

those who make oppressive laws.

94:21 They conspire against the blameless,

and condemn to death the innocent.

94:22 But the Lord will protect me,

and my God will shelter me.

He will destroy them because of their evil;

Amen to your anointed prayer. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people. Proverbs 14:33. Let the Lord find us with repentant hearts. . . asking for mercy.

Lord, forgive us. We share Your grief, that our culture has fallen so far, that murder in the womb is not shocking.

Father God, mold us to be lanterns, extending Your light, Your love, and Your truth - as You are the only remedy in this sick world.

While reading your post, I remembered scenes from The Hiding Place and wondered how a so called ‘Christian’ nation.......the nation of Luther.....could have produced monsters without regard to life.

And I realize......we are close to or already that nation......the American Holocaust

God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy......I believe his hand is not raised yet......but we must pray harder and help those who are blinded to the truth
