I am asking for prayers for my Father and Family.
My Dad, John Henry is 90 yrs and has been ill for the last 3 yrs.
3 weeks ago he fell and broke his hip and his chances of recovery were very poor.
He was being poorly cared for at Mercy Hosp. in Pittsburgh and we moved him to a hospice facility on Friday.
He is now out of pain but his time is short.
Dad is a proud Veteran of the US Army where he achieved the rank of Master Sgt and was wounded during the Huk rebellion in the Philippines in 1946.
My Parents are devout Catholics and Mom and he will celebrate 65 yrs of marriage in November

My mother went downhill more suddenly than expected and passed away in April. I do think Hospice contributed to her comfort.

Have Mercy on your faithful servant John Henry, may he and his family draw nearer to you in these difficult times and by their example of faith, courage and hope give great glory to you O Lord. May they find peace and comfort in your promise of salvation and join their suffering to the cross of Christ Jesus our brother and may we, all joined here in prayer also be united as His brothers and sisters in faith.
