Mine is a face that patients are sometimes surprised to see at the Planned Parenthood health center in Portland.
For the past few years, four other faith leaders and I have served as volunteer chaplains. Were proud to be part of a highly professional and highly caring health care team. Along with our Planned Parenthood colleagues, were committed to showing care and respect for the whole person, including her (or his) physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. As chaplains, we undertake this work not in spite of, but because of our faith and values.
There are some who assume that if youre a person of faith, you must stand in opposition to all that Planned Parenthood represents, but thats far from true. Throughout the U.S., according to the Public Religion Research Institute, the majority of religiously affiliated people support sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice. Promoting health care for all, including reproductive and sexual health care, is an important religious value, and that commitment is nothing new. Clergy were among the earliest supporters of Margaret Sanger and other pioneers of the family planning movement.

Baal.
Except for the ones we shred.
Nothing will move the hearts of ME people on abortion.
Chaplin of Satan. Good luck in the judgment.
Well REV(??) I am really sad that YOUR parents didn’t share your view on abortion.
He only believes that because abortion kills black and gay people before they are born. /boomerang
And just how does abortion help the person in the uterus?
100% mortality. The ones that manage to survive are left to die on the back table or strangled. Yes, Im sure God looks favorably on that.
Ask the child if he/she wants to be aborted. Give the child a choice!
Wow, how many twisted talking points, culturally hip buzzwords, and petty underhanded accusations and insults can be disgorged in one interview?
Well, what to expect from a man of the whole cloth.
This screed is so rock bottom depraved that entering the grave will mean ascending a tall ladder. Yikes.
Why, yes...that's true...I believe it comes under that thingy about "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".
But heathen bastids such as you choose to think that that encompasses your horrific aspect and practice of ripping a living human being from the womb of a woman, for no other reason than that she doesn't wish to be bothered by giving birth to it.
May you be damned to Hell for MURDER.
And the last time I checked on what PP REALLY does in regards to "women health"...they did not provide anything other than a butcher with a scalpel and a vacuum device.
Oh, and a dumpster out back for the parts they couldn't sell.
You're full of doo-doo...and I would love to say it to your face..."Reverend".
Don’t judge every person in Maine based on the comments and actions of this left-wing “chaplain.”
This is the first I every heard of this so-called chaplain and this story, and I live in Maine.
Also keep in mind Portland is moonbat central in Maine.
Rev. Ellison is not s minister of our Lord Jesus Christ but a modern temple priest for Moloch. Rather than beating drums and making other noises to drown out the agonizing screams of burning babies his ministry consists of making soothing sounds while the unborn baby is sliced, diced, and vivisected.
PCUSA, certainly not PCA or OPC.
Good God. He says that like it's a good thing. So...they supported the eugenics movement?
That is pretty much true anywhere.
That is also why we cannot combat leftism by pretending it only exists in other states and not our own, or that a dotted line on a road map is going to somehow keep it out.
But sometimes you run into a reality so strong that you can no longer turn a blind eye.
Then you change.
Google him. He comes down on the wrong side on pretty much every issue.
