Sin is transgression of the Law. No law = No Sin. Yiippeee! We can do what we want.

@ Thess. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the Man of Lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Very good - Thanks!
ALL of the old covenant must die that the new covenant may live! For 40 years the two covenants existed side by side, but in the end the old had to pass away for the new. That is why the Temple was destroyed - and why it can never be built again.

Christ’s finished work on the cross, moreover, abrogated the Mosaic law, and thus the fourth commandment no longer applies to Christians.

Little bit of a difference between the Ten Commandments and the Mosaic Law.

Gen. 2 And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. 3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

Matt. 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Jesus of Nazareth was a first century Jew, probably a Pharisee himself, who cast his parables in terms familiar to his audience. Issues of what constituted "work" on the Sabbath was a known topic of debate. The consensus was that acts of mercy were exempt. Rescuing animals, more questionable. But Jesus never overturned the observance of the Sabbath.

Maybe God endorses a little doctrinal division.
Ex. 32:26,27 then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, "Whoever is for the LORD, come to me!" And all the sons of Levi gathered together to him. 27He said to them, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Every man of you put his sword upon his thigh, and go back and forth from gate to gate in the camp, and kill every man his brother, and every man his friend, and every man his neighbor.'"

If you want to keep the Sabbath, keep the Sabbath. If you don’t want to,don’t. It’s called freedom. You should try it.

Romans 14:5-6a (NKJV) 5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6a He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it.

in a way I respect them for trying to honor God, it that is what they think they are doing. But NO ONE is saved by keeping the Law, or by their own works.
Salvation is by Faith alone, in Christ alone.

Do you realize who wrote the posted article ?

Hank Hanegraaff

Q. What led you to become Orthodox? A. In a word, it comes down to “theosis” (union with God) — my growing realization through prolonged prayer and extensive reflection that this transformative process — and ultimate transformation — is the very purpose of human life. What’s more, I’ve come to realize that we can experience the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. That Holy Communion, rightly understood and administered, is vastly more than memorial. It is the primary means by which we may become by grace what God is by nature. Or as Peter puts it, become partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Increasingly, I’m yearning to know not only about Jesus Christ as the way and the truth but also Jesus Christ as the way and the life (John 14:6).

Turn the argument around. A certain sect of Christianity has said it has the authority to change the Sabbath day from the seventh day to the first day in spite that there is a lack of scripture to do that. If the seventh day is abrogated in the mosaic law then no day is more sacred then another but the seventh day is declared holy at the finish of creation.

That's the most asinine question I've read in years.
Ant the warped logic the writer comes up with is also NUTS !
Only Satan himself could have come up with such CONFUSION, as the writer of this garbage wrote !
Jesus himself throughout most of the Old Testament destroyed cities and nations for NOT Keeping the Sabbath, and His Father's Commandments !
Jesus himself KEPT THE SABBATH !

But leave it to Satan's FALSE CHURCHES to TRY to CONFUSE the issue, and CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS !

And< 8Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, 10and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.”

11But he replied, “The man who made me well said to me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’ ”

12So they asked him, “Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk?”

Jesus did a miracle by healing the cripple and what the religious (old school) folks saw was the guy doing a small bit of work on the Sabbath.

quote-A doctrine that divides Bible believers.

That division could become even wider if more people start realizing that satan deceives the whole world today through ‘time’.
And it affects them in a way they can’t even see yet.

And it is one reason for the ‘Remember’ in His ‘Remember the Sabbath’ Commandment-

The Sabbath has been forgotten- hidden by the enemy due to the change of times and laws.
But those who have the Son need not be deceived.

But it was predicted that times and laws would change.

It puts all that Commandment breaking the enemy causes in Revelation 13, into perspective, too.

Today being named after some false god isn’t an accident- it’s prophetic.
So is rome’s ‘frigg’ day or ‘satyr’/’saturn’ day. or ‘sun’ day.. three false days that have zero to do with The Word or the Word Made Flesh, but you’d have a hard time convincing bible believers of that.
But those three false days have everything to do with one of satan’s vessel used in counterfeiting: Rome.

What would believers do if they learned rome’s friday isn’t the Father’s 6th Day?

What would believers do if they learned Passover (14th
Day) is always the Father’s 6th Day?

That ruins rome’s ‘good friday’, rome’s holy saturday and rome’s ‘sunday’ temple in one swift blow.

One would be blessed to start to see how the Father used His Son to tell time- and not Rome.
But it means having to reject rome’s false 1st importance of the gospel- something even muslims and judaism accept in one form..

What would 7th Day Adventists Hebrew Roots, etc, do if they realize coming up over the next 4 weeks on the Father’s calendar, that rome’s sun day is the 7th Day Sabbath?

They aren’t going to be keeping the Sabbath holy for 4 weeks. And Christians may.
And sometimes, Muslims will..
And sometimes, none of them do..

Most won’t be able to see this because they believe Christ died for our sins on rome’s false 6th day, good friday-
Instead of Christ dying for our sins as the Passover Lamb, on the Father’s True 6th Day (Passover) in accordance with the scriptures.

He can bless us with eyes to see that subtle, yet profound, difference in time and law.

People may start to understand why it says ‘Remember’ the Sabbath Day, then.

The enemy has done a good job of hiding it- and he has used religion to do it. quite a twist..

All for His Glory !
