Dear Heavenly Father, Precious Lord and Savior, May You be glorified in our lives this day. Lord may we stop any reeling going on in our lives, circumstances or walk with You and settle into the fact that You love us and desire that we draw closer to You than we have ever been. You are the Mighty God, Victorious, Emmanuel, Wonderful Counselor, Lamb of God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Where else can we go to get it right than at Your feet. I praise You for we each are fearfully and wonderfully made. You ordained our days and there are none who can change Your immutable ways. Lord, may we Your Bride prepare herself to rise up soon and meet You face to face. May we be zealous in the work You have given us to do. Many everywhere we look are dying in their sins, too proud to consider their Creator. Yet, Your creation testifies of Your limitless power, majesty and sovereignty over all of life. Man is blind yet boasts of his perfect vision, deaf but claims he can hear the ants crawling around on the peonies. Your world is beautiful beyond description even though it is plagued with sin.
Father, thank You for revealing our sin to us and our need for Your Son, Jesus Christ. Only when we humble ourselves can we reach heights we never knew existed before. Give us the words to convey to others who are lost in their own righteousness, the love You have for mankind. May we live a life that testifies to others that we really do believe in Jesus and that our eternity began when we received Him as our Savior. Although we still wage war against our fleshly desires, You give us strength to overcome the trials and temptations we encounter. Lord, when we fail we can come to You for forgiveness and peace knowing we are forgiven. How liberating it is to no longer be constrained by the world's ways. We have One who judges us by the righteousness of His perfect Son. We no longer need to fear the storms of life when our impulse is to turn to You. You make beauty out of the ashes of our lives. Praise alone be to our God.
Lord, we plead for the wellness of our nation and world. The enemies seem to have gotten the upper hand more often than the righteous have in the torrid history of man on earth. Oh Lord, You are not slack concerning Your promises, nor are You caught unaware of any detail in Your world and people. You are patient and bringing about Your perfect will. Lord, we pray for many more fellow laborers to bring in the harvest of souls You have prepared. Give us enthusiasm for Your Kingdom work. Give us joy in the day to day battles.
May the leaders of our country specifically President Trump, Vice President Pence all elected Senators and Representatives bow down to You this day. May they not fear what man can do to them but wholly cast themselves at Your feet where they can find mercy and help in the day of trouble. Lord there is no safer place to be than in Your care and will. Lord, give each of them a desire for truth and peace, and let them find Your Truth, peace and comfort. In Your presence is everlasting joy and peace. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name I pray.
