In a strongly worded statement, the chairman of the Committee on Migration of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has denounced Thursdays Supreme Court decision that blocked the Obama administrations executive action to shield more than 4 million illegal immigrants from deportation, calling it a huge disappointment.

Now the Catholic Bishops attack the Supreme Court for upholding the Constitution and letting stand a decision overturning Obama's illegal and unconstitutional acts.
The Catholic hierarchy is corrupt. They have contempt for the faithful Catholics who sacrifice to keep the church alive in America.
The Bishops support homosexuality, totalitarianism and are devoid of spiritual values. They mismanage and plunder church finances and then call for more donations. They close parishes and schools supported by faithful Catholics and spend the money on who knows what.
They have failed in every way.
The RCC has pushed for this for a long time. On this issue they are a huge enemy.
So the rule of law is a huge disappointment to the US Catholic Bishops?
And this AIN'T the only one. I'm talking about the hierarchy, not the folks in the pews.
They are catholics. Disappointment is their cornerstone. I think we can all say a few rounds of the Rosary and a few our fathers to redeem ourselves.
The RC is worth what? A trillion bucks? More? Let THEM pay for all these refugees they pretend to care so much about.
Many of the folks in the pews. If they are pro abort, which many are, they are lib enough to support this too.
And let’s not forget to follow the money.
The RCC immigration charities receive MILLIONS for refugee resettlement services they provide here in the US.
RCC has become a Very large promoter of cultural disruption via socialist creative destruction efforts.
Beware of global authority bodies, ie: UN, EU, RC Vatican Papacy - all are creations of man’s hubris, and have resulted in growing their own leader’s wealth with public money, reducing citizen liberties & quality of life, while sheltering depraved pedophiles within their ranks.
Whore of Rome, in deed.
RE: “The RCC has pushed for this for a long time. On this issue they are a huge enemy.”
True enough...
“Many of the folks in the pews. If they are pro abort, which many are”
There are almost no practicing Catholics who are pro abortion. In fact, Catholics are the only group committed to protecting the lives of unborn children.
Catholics are the foundation of the pro life movement in the U.S.
hmmmm ... you may want to believe that, but 40 percent of US Catholics apparently think that Hillary would be a “great or good president” — hard to imagine any genuine pro-life person who thinks that pro-abort Hillary would be a “great or good president” -—
“Finally, if we look beyond the primaries, we find that 40 percent of all Catholics believe that Clinton would be a great or good president. This is the highest percentage of Catholics saying this about any candidate, followed by 30 percent saying the same thing about Trump and Ted Cruz, and 29 percent saying it for Rubio.”

Gotta keep filling those pews, at US expense, of course.
These selling-their-souls-for-immigrant-money bishops are traitors. Don’t they have enough money???
Sorry to break it to you but many protestants are staunchly pro life. There are numerous alternative pregnancy centers run by believers that have no catholic connection. My pillar of the catholic church relatives are militantly pro abort and pro gay and are very respected and active members of their local parish.
Your brush is a bit to broad.
I guess they see hundred$ of million$ in service contracts from Obama disappearing.
Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens."
Wouldn't it be nice if the USCCB were more loyal to real social justice doctrine, e.g. in the Catechism?
And wouldn't it be nice if we could say the same for the Pope?
It has always been my position that it would benefit the whole world enormously, if Catholics were more... Catholic.
You are right. I should have worded my reply more accurately. I had no intention of saying there were not many pro life Protestants.
I have helped pro life groups in my area and they are mostly or all Catholic. Most of the activities like side walk counseling and prayer vigils are organized by Catholics. But there are Protestants involved.
Please accept my apology for my poor wording.
Keep up the good work.
It is hard to be in a religion that demands certain behaviors and adherence to their teachings while encouraging lawbreaking because most of the lawbreakers are regarded as members.
If most were not catholic we would not see the RCC supporting this. To wit we see no such effort of the RCC inside mexico, to hide and protect illegal central americans there.
“Among Catholics who attend Mass weekly, 23% say abortion is not a sin”
I am very active in my parish. I have not met any practicing Catholics who are not pro life.
