The Atheist Creed:
1. There is no God.
2. And I hate Him.

They believe in God, they’re just angry that He doesn’t fit the mold they want Him to fit in. If they really don’t believe, why do they care if others do?

So 9/11 was the fault of "religion," not psychotic members of the cult of Islam. Fine reasoning there, Gillette. Meanwhile, how about the 100 million+ people killed by Godless communist Russia and China and Godless socialist Nazi Germany, eh Penn? Penn would say that is proof his "no god god" is the true way since a peaceful god wouldn't tolerate such horrors from man.

Aren’t Gillette and Glenn Beck real tight?
Do I recall Beck saying Gillette is the most honest man he ever met; or real close to that? Probably within the last 6 months.

What's the "trick"? He's on record as saying that he doesn't like to criticize Islam explicitly because he has a family and is worried about what might happen to them (which is a very strong implicit criticism of Islam), but I don't think he'd argue that Islam, Christianity, Judaism and the others all weren't religions with things in common.
Maybe I've missed something but most of what he says about Christianity does relate to Christianity as an example of religion, rather than to specific points of Christian theology or belief. In what I've heard from him he's saying religion is dumb, not that Christians specifically are dumb or evil. And he doesn't talk much about Judaism at all.

Atheism is a temper tantrum that tries to sell itself as reasonable. In the face of the Supreme Mystery, atheists punt.

Sinful people find comfort in defile ,,, nothing or anyone to answer to is so much easier than living a life guided by the commandments of God .

It’s very confusing.
I don’t care what they believe. What gets me started is WHY they must tell ME what they believe.
Now they demand I act on it. Phhhttt.

If “atheism is a religion like not collecting stamps is a hobby”, then why do atheists organize and non-philatelists don’t?

Right. Penn Jillette is one of the most vocal celebrities for freedom from govt in the world. But, since he’s also an atheist we have to completely reject him. Well done. This is how Republicans lose.

Look, they are free to live their lives but the bonds that tie me directly to my freedoms simply do not exist in the same sense for an atheist. There is no getting around that fact, because their ultimate authority is man, not God.
Yeah, I agree the rights still exist, but they are not inherent, necessary and engrained in their very being by holy right and bonded in holy fire.
They still are absolutely entitled to them and I agree from my perspective, but they won't agree with it by their lack of faith in our holy father. Just the way it is.
