My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.

PRAYER UPDATE:
I just got off the phone with the ICU nurse and Kelly’s numbers are up pretty dramatically over night. Her WBC (which is indicative of the blood infection) has been reduced by half. She was on 100% oxygen just two days ago and then it was reduced to 90% yesterday and is now down to where she is tolerating 60% oxygen. They have taken her off of one of the medications and she is tolerating her feeding tube. All the numbers are better! We’re not out of the woods yet, but Praise God there is now light at the end of the tunnel.
I want to thank all of you for your faithful prayers. We have seen a lot of miracles on the Religion Forum over the years and this is the first time I have gone out to the prayer warriors here and the response has been absolutely incredible.
