Didn’t think so.

Btw, at Mass this morning as always we worshiped Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!

His Peace be with you always :)

The first Christians were not catholic.

The first Christians wrote the New Testament and were called Disciples they were not catholic.
And, They wrote a lot about other Christians in the NT, who were also not Catholic.

The true church existed for well over 300 years BEFORE the Roman/Babylonian/pagan/catholic church ever existed.

What the Catholic Church is just as bad as what the Pharisees and Sadducee’s were in Jesus time, teaching their own traditions as “sacred” truth, and just as important. Not to mention persecuting anyone who strays from their non-biblical doctrine.

Most of the Catholics I have met or observed with their lifestyle(not saying all I know they are some good Christian caught up in this pagan church) have no realrelationship with the God of the Bible, but are instead trying to reach God through “mother church”, routines, rituals, pagan symbolism, sacraments, saints, idols, trinkets, and various other assortments of gadgets (rosary beads, brown scapulars, etc., ad nauseam).

Also they are no Queen of heaven. Done with this topic. Flame on.

You know... for a guy who is suppose to be holding the “office” that Peter once held, he is nothing like Peter. Read Peter’s sermon in Acts and then read what this Pope says. This guy is to afraid of offending people to even hold a candle to Peter.

“Isn’t there something wrong with a Catholic leader from a Latin American country encouraging people from historically Catholic countries in Latin America to migrate to a radically secular nation like ours?”

What is many of those Latin American countries are also becoming “radically secular”? And they are by the way. Take Pope Francis’ native country - Argentina. Watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOCD_T9Qqpc. It happens EVERY YEAR.

Regarding the Pope’s comment about marriage in the USA, even in his time Thomas Jefferson had basically indicated that foreigners didn’t understand the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers.

“With respect to our State and federal governments, I do not think their relations correctly understood by foreigners. They generally suppose the former subordinate to the latter. But this is not the case.” —Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824.

The Pope probably thinks that Congress and Obama are just doing what they have to do.

“It is vitally important for the Church today to go forth and preach the Gospel to all: to all places, on all occasions, without hesitation, reluctance or fear. The joy of the Gospel is for all people: no one can be excluded,” he said.

Pray tell Dear Pope Francis, why did you not include this statement in ANY of your speeches except this one to your Bishops??? How do we emulate your request when you are so reluctant to Preach the Gospel to your largest audiences her in the United States?

Why the HELL didn’t he say this to CONGRESS????

He did:

"Yet I cannot hide my concern for the family, which is threatened, perhaps as never before, from within and without. Fundamental relationships are being called into question, as is the very basis of marriage and the family. I can only reiterate the importance and, above all, the richness and the beauty of family life."

And don't be mistaken. When Pope Francis says "...marriage has been stretched and distorted in the United States, to the point where it is no longer even similar to the Christian sacrament of matrimony" he's including divorce in that.

The first Christians probably called themselves Jewish. It wasn’t until several decades after Christ’s ascension that many of those people realized that His second coming wasn’t going to happen in their lifetimes.

Interesting. Pope Sixtus II (who was executed by Emperor Valerian in August 258 A.D. for being bishop of Rome) must have missed the memo that his church didn't exist yet.

Yes, they were catholic even though your tradition teaches differently and you do not understand.

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Acts, Greek from Byzantine Majority Text (bold emphasis mine,
Catholic chapter nine, Protestant verse thirty one,
English as authorized, but not authored, by King James
