I did.
HERE is the church YOU claim He 'founded'...
And you continue to have the audacity, the chutzpah, the nerve to claim that Catholicism is not to blame for their down fall.
Jesus was walking along one day, when He came upon a group of people surrounding a lady of ill repute. It was obvious that the crowd was preparing to stone her, so Jesus made His now-famous statement, “Let the person who has no sin cast the first stone.”
The crowd was shamed and one by one began to turn away. All of a sudden, a lovely little woman made her way through the crowd. Finally getting to the front, she tossed a pebble towards the woman.
Jesus looks over and says, “I really hate it when you do that, Mom.”
Well, at least you noticed one of your keyboarding mistakes.
Because there is NO UNIVERSAL teaching by the ECFs. They're all over the board on the issues near and dear to roman catholicism like the Eucharist, Peter, Mary, etc.
1) You post a passage where Jesus refers to REWARDS, not eternal life. This alludes to the Bema Seat of Christ IN HEASVEN, so the ones spoken to regarding rewards are already IN eternal life.
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
2) You were so intent on opposing the poster you made the smarmy mistake of assuming something not said ...
Iscool: Salvation is by grace alone. Only if you have faith without any works of any kind...
af_vet_1981: False, once more demonstrating the folly of man made doctrines formed in rebellion(Calvinism, OSAS, Sola Scriptural). in typical, arrogant catholic style you fail to see that 'if someone is born from above and has no works to show for it, due to sudden death or other circumstance, being born from above is still the Truth of that soul's destiny and they have eternal life despite not having any works to get rewarded.
Perhaps your problem is confusing eternal life as a reward (as if you could strive to earn it), when God NEVER makes that assertion on your behalf, because to put eternal life in that posture it would be an earned destiny, which God tells you is ONLY your by His Grace not your works.
Additionally, it is ONLY the works in life that are sourced in God's Holy Spirit on your behalf that are scheduled for the rewards ceremony IN HEAVEN, works done by you among those Jesus told you 'when you do it for the least you have done this for Me.'
So your error is two-fold, assuming something that was not said by Iscool, and missing the TRUTH of the meaning of rewards.
But don'e beat yourself up over this double whammy, we ALL have doene the same conclusion jumping from time to time.
And Everyone notices your ignoring what I commented upon.
And every sane person realizes your comments are usually not worth paying attention to. That’s another reason you probably resort to posting cartoons and pictures. Are you about do for one of those by the way. I mean that tacit admission of defeat is already there so you should be posting a pic any second now.
One who does not see eternal life in the passage did not read it, cannot read it, will not read it, or is spiritually blinded and cannot spiritually discern it. Read it slowly, verse by verse. Pretend it was not posted by a Catholic if that helps. It is more important that one not publicly add to, or take away from, the words in the prophecy.
Absolutely...And the earliest church fathers were anything but Catholic...
I still hear Stuart Smalley for some reason...
Take care.

Have pity on the poster. It is trying its best to get another little gold star to show mommy.
I do, MHG... seriously. I do. Pity as well as prayer. Directly to The Lord, btw.
:D

I knew about Noah and Lot; but good ol' Mose?Catholicism: Peter is the foundation of the church.Moses..Noah.. what's the difference? Just showing off because you have read the Bible more then once I guess? Reminds me of the Elisha/Elijah comment a couple of days ago.
The Bible: Jesus is the foundation of the church.
What's the difference?--xone
In fact, "What difference, at this time, does it make"--Hillary Clinton, the Butcher of Benghazi.
Elsie, you have read the Bible more than once? Heretic!
WOW!
That is very funny!
I guess He knew she wasn’t around. LOL
Wow. Now you've officially lost since you've resorted to what seems to be basically insinuating Elsie is not sane.
So very, very sad.

"I was right all along."
Does that man look gay to you?
The title of this article is a lie: Hating CatholicsAmericas ONLY Accepted Prejudice
Of course, if you follow the false logic of many Catholic posters here, every Christian is a Catholic.
If you were baptized, even if it is not a Biblical baptism like sprinkling.
If you were baptized in a church other than a Catholic church, it doesn't matter you were baptized a Catholic.
If you were earlier in life a Catholic and later decide to become a Christian, you are still a Catholic. Branded for life by baptism "into" the Catholic church.
If you desire to go to heaven, you have to "come back" (even if you have never been a Catholic) to the Catholic church to enter heaven.
Popes have said that you have to be a Catholic to be saved, so it stands to "reason" if you have salvation you must be a Catholic.
Catholicism has made it clear that Christians must be under the authority of their pope.
So using all of this false logic it can be believed by those who are members of the denomination of Catholicism that the title is not a lie.
Whether or not OTC's agree with the false premise propagated by the title is just a diversion away from the Gospel message of Christianity.
“I still hear Stuart Smalley for some reason...”
And you were still wrong. You couldn’t even get the definition of “some” right.
LOL some have found some very creative ways to get around the rules of the Religion Forum.
Ad hominids are the ploy, which btw are not allowed either.
