Facebook did the same to me. I suspect someone complained. Hadn't used my account in ages, but then I was caught up in discussions on a political Facebook page. Some liberal must not have liked my opinions.
The H with Facebook. Its a commie outfit, plus it isn't all that secure.

I left FB over five years ago and never looked back.
Somehow I have survived. :-)
I like Msgr Pope a lot, and I am not even a Catholic. He will get followers on another venue, because he is extremely popular.

There is the problem with this thread. You excerpted a blog unnecessarily, making it appear (from the excerpt) that the author of the article also has a facebook page under a pseudonym of Charles Pope.
That is, the excerpt makes it appear that the “note” is written by Greg Kandra.
NOW do you see the problem with unnecessary excerpting of blogs?
If you must excerpt (and you mustn’t), make the excerpt coherent.
