Unfortunately for Dan, that’s exactly what Christ will say on the day of judgement This man is not a Christian There is simply no way I can imagine to be a Christian and a baby murderer at the same time
“Dan who?”
They forgot to put down his middle name otherwise you would have recognized him. It’s...
Dan “Mengele” Wilkinson
So the baby’s parts have value but not the baby. Wouldn’t a baby fetch more money if it was sold complete?
Dan’s a special kind of stupid.
I don’t know any Christians that support abortion. Or wave the rainbow flag. Not a single one.
God finds such absolutism irrefutable. #alllivesmatter
It’s not up to an alleged Christian writer to absolve Planned Parenthood.
It’s up to God.
Democrats are required to support abortion. They are also required to support anything that justifies abortion. They are required to deny human nature for political reasons.
Nazi doctors spoke in matter-of-fact terms too regarding killing off inferior German children and experimenting on Jews. But if Doctors are involved its morally OK right?
Here’s the summary of the beliefs of Pathos:
What We Believe
Generally speaking (because do any two people anywhere believe the exact same things?) we here at UC hold that:
Jesus Christ was divine. In the course of his dutiful incarnation on earth he therefore easily (what with being divine and all) performed what to him alone werent miracles at all. As a means of providing for the irrevocable reconciliation of humankind to God (and so of course for each person to him or herself) he allowed for his bodily execution on the cross; by way of (yet again) proving that he was divine he then rose from the dead; for the benefit of all people he left behind the totality of him/her self in the form of the indwelling Holy Spirit, which is readily and easily available to everyone.
The Bible is not a contract stipulating the rules for being a Christian. It is an ancient, massive, infinitely complex tome comprising songs, visions, histories, dreams, parables, commandments, and more. Christians seeking to follow the Word of God must look to all the words of God, ever seeking within those words the spirit of Jesus Christ. This means never failing to choose love, compassion and charity over adherence to any Biblical law that in practice or spirit violates Christs Great Commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Christianity is supposed to be all about nothing more (and nothing less!) than living a life of love, compassion, fairness, peace, and humility.
The Biblical scholarship supporting the idea that Paul never wrote a word condemning natural homosexuality is more credible and persuasive than is the scholarship claiming that he did. Moreover, we remain mystified as to how any follower of Jesus could choose damning an entire population over obeying Jesus Great Commandment to love God and ones neighbor as oneself.
God does not want any woman automatically submitting to her husband or to anyone else.
Using masculine pronouns to refer to God is strictly a matter of convention, a profoundly unfortunate necessity of the English language, which to date offers no satisfactory alternative. But God is neither male nor female. God is always, at once, both and unimaginably more.
The belief that throughout history God chose to introduce himself in different ways into different culture streams is more reasonable, respectful, and compassionate than is the conviction that there is only one correct way to understand and worship God.
There is no support in the Bible for the morally repugnant idea that hell is an actual place to which God sentences people to spend eternity in mortal agony.
Gods will and intention is to forgive and teach us, not to judge and punish us.
Anyone desiring to mix Church and State has failed to understand the nature and proper role of either.
God can handle converting people. Our job is to love people.
An all-powerful God and the theory of evolution are not incompatible.
Getting a divorce is painful, and if at all possible should certainly be avoided. But in and of itself divorce is not immoral.
The single most telling indicator of a persons moral character has nothing to do with how they define or worship God, and everything to do with how they treat others.
Sounds like a wolf among the sheep.
Also I’ve never heard of him.
Dan Fetal Tissue!
“Hey Dan, I’m hungry. I could go for some baby-back ribs!”
Dan: “Sounds good! There’s a planned parenthood two blocks away.”
My thought too! Who is this Dan Wilkenson?
In the end, God will decide if he was a Christian.
Dan claims to be a Christian writer but he clearly has no understanding of the text which defines Christianity.
The argument that abortion isn’t specifically mentioned in the Bible may be true in the strictest sense, but we’re left with no doubt that God considers life as beginning at conception. This is repeated over and over in the Bible and not at all difficult to understand.
We read repeatedly that human life is created in the womb well before delivery from the womb. Below are just a few of many verses describing this truth.
For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. Ps 139:13
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Ecc 11:5
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the LORD, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth all alone, Is 44:24
Jeremiah then makes clear that what the Lord is weaving together in the womb is in fact living. Life is in the womb, or else it would be impossible to be killed in the womb as Jeremiah describes with the womb becoming in effect the grave of the preborn child.
because he did not kill me in the womb; so my mother would have been my grave Jer 20:17a
Dan would be more correctly defined as an apostate writer.
What's so hard to understand about that ?
