“Christian” Writer Still Supports Planned Parenthood Despite Selling Aborted Baby Parts

It is really upsetting that top Democrats across the country are refusing to denounce Planned Parenthood’s abortion business, especially after the recent video showing their top doctor, Deborah Nutatola, discussing their negotiations with a business called Stem Express that purchases aborted babies’ body parts for experimentation.

However, what’s even more upsetting and quite frankly unimaginable is Christians standing with Planned Parenthood.

In an article posted on July 20th, writer Dan Wilkinson says he still supports the abortion giant even though he is a Christian . In summary, his reasoning is that there is nothing wrong with “donating” fetal “tissue” for medical research and Planned Parenthood shouldn’t have to apologize for the tone of Dr. Nutalola because most medical professionals talk in matter-of fact terms.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

Additionally, he argues that Planned Parenthood helps women all over the country and God never condemned abortion in the Bible directly.

Here are a few paragraphs from his article:

Let’s be honest, Planned Parenthood isn’t the abortion mill that the far right would have us believe it is. The services they provide are far broader and far more important. They provide crucial medical care to an often desperately underserved population, and devote far more resources toward preventing pregnancies than to terminating them. As a comprehensive provider of reproductive and sexual healthcare — especially to female, minority, and underprivileged populations — we need more of Planned Parenthood, not less.

I realize that in most Christian circles anything less than complete opposition to abortion is anathema. But given the theological, philosophical and scientific ambiguities surrounding the issue, I find such absolutism untenable. I don’t want anyone to ever be in the position where they’re considering abortion, but I also don’t want to deny them that option. I’m not God and, despite what many Christians claim, God doesn’t seem to have said anything that’s directly relevant to this topic.

Wilkinson needs to review Planned Parenthood’s most recent annual report, which reveals that they performed 327,654 abortions in 2013 and abortion accounted for 94% of their services to pregnant women. In fact, while they were making big bucks on abortion there other services like contraception and cancer screenings dropped significantly.

Secondly, Wilkinson should read up on Planned Parenthood’s founder to get a good picture of what their organization really believes about minority populations and the poor. In Margaret Sanger’s book, “Pivot of Civilization” she describes African-Americans, and immigrants as “human weeds,” “reckless breeders,” and “spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”

Then in “Woman and the New Race” Sanger argues that because the conditions of large families tend to involve poverty and illness, it is better for everyone involved if a child’s life is snuffed out before he or she has a chance to pose difficulties to its family. She writes, “[We should] apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.”

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must Investigate Planned Parenthood for Selling Aborted Baby Parts

Finally, Wilkinson should review God’s view on human life, which is outlined consistently in both the Old and New Testament (Matthew 18:10, Jeremiah 1:5, Exodus 21:22-23, Psalm 139:13-15). Although Wilkinson is correct to say that God doesn’t mention abortion directly, He clearly opposes killing innocent children and reveals to the world that he formed unborn life. In Genesis, for example, we learn that God made mankind in his image, and in Psalms and Jeremiah that God “knits together” and knows unborn life.

Of course, there are countless scriptures in the Bible that affirm the sanctity of life and clearly Wilson is ignoring them to conclude that God’s okay with Planned Parenthood’s business. Thankfully, however, most Christians would agree that Dr. Nucatola’s admissions were horrific and that Planned Parenthood shouldn’t be selling fetal body parts for research.

Unfortunately for Dan, that’s exactly what Christ will say on the day of judgement This man is not a Christian There is simply no way I can imagine to be a Christian and a baby murderer at the same time

So the baby’s parts have value but not the baby. Wouldn’t a baby fetch more money if it was sold complete?

Dan’s a special kind of stupid.

Based on what his website believes, he seems to be more interested in the current culture than the truth.

I don’t know any Christians that support abortion. Or wave the rainbow flag. Not a single one.

God finds such absolutism irrefutable. #alllivesmatter

I am going to use a crass analogy: it is like a car chop-shop. The parts can be sold at a higher mark-up than the whole car. Who wants the frame when you only need an engine?

It’s not up to an alleged Christian writer to absolve Planned Parenthood.

It’s up to God.

“So the baby’s parts have value but not the baby.”

This is Planned Parenthood’s dark miracle - they can get baby parts from “lumps of cells” and “discarded tissue’.

After reading a few articles on that web site, I am convinced that Christians need to separate themselves from liberal posing as Christians. Let them wallow in their own filth.

Democrats are required to support abortion. They are also required to support anything that justifies abortion. They are required to deny human nature for political reasons.

because most medical professionals talk in matter-of fact terms.

Nazi doctors spoke in matter-of-fact terms too regarding killing off inferior German children and experimenting on Jews. But if Doctors are involved its morally OK right?
