Lord, as Memorial Day approaches, we thank You for all who have died for our country, and pray a final blessing on them.
From You, O LORD, comes the theme of our praise; they who seek You will praise You may their hearts live forever! Posterity will serve You, and future generations will be told about You. They will proclaim Your righteousness to a people yet unborn for You have done it. In the darkness of this present world, full of sin and suffering, we pray for Your grace, that the poor may eat and be satisfied. Hasten the day when all the rich of the earth will feast and worship, and all who go down to the dust will kneel before You those who cannot keep themselves alive. Dominion belongs to You, O God, and You rule over the nations. In Your mercy, cause all the ends of the earth to remember and turn to You, and all the families of the nations to bow down before You through Jesus Christ, in whose Name we pray all things, Amen.
Come and pray.
Joining in prayer, Irish Rose, for our beloved America, our heroes, all God’s people.
May we remember all the sacrifices of those who gave their all on Memorial Day.
Amen.
AMEN! PRAYERS UP!

I met a real live hero today.
I stopped to drop off a letter at the P.O. When I got back in my car, it wouldn’t start. I thought it might be my battery.
Before I called my insurance company, I stepped across the street to a car wash where I saw a lot of guys. And .. there was a very strong and nice looking man washing his car (a Range Rover). He acknowledged right away that he had jumper cables. He drove over to the parking lot across the street where my car was parked, and there he attempted to get my car to start. No luck. Finally, he suggested I call for my road service. He waited with me until I had made contact with them and knew they were on their way.
I only know his name is Travis - he’s been in the Navy for almost 20 years; he just got transferred here a couple of months ago. Looking forward to retirement and the chance to have his own business.
To me, he embodied all that I believe about OUR military; they’re smart, polite, and ready to help citizens everywhere they can be found. I felt very safe with him.
I purposely did not ask him too many questions, because I don’t ever want to put them at risk. Although, I do hope I run into him again, and maybe when his family moves over here, we can all get together.
Amen to your Wonderful, Powerful Prayer, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
I Love your Beautiful Graphic.
