If the eternal life giving eucharist doesn’t wear off, then why the repetition?

If the eternal life giving eucharist doesnt wear off, then why the repetition? Who knows for sure? I couldn't give an answer either, and I am an ex catholic, but maybe it doesn't give eternal life in the first place, or maybe they are simply not sure, and want to keep receiving it, just in case it DOES wear off.

Two reasons — 1 from the NT where Christ repeated the act and commanded us to do this in memory of Him. Secondly, this is linked as spiritual manna — to feed our spirit.
