Prayer Request

I am terribly sorry to hear of your child's suffering. I will pray for her and for you.

Lord of the Universe,
Creator of the earth and sky,
Master of all that exists,
You made us; we belong to you.
Please bless Sophia and her mom
And in Your mercy grant Sophia well-being
of body, mind and soul.
Please calm all fears and restore peace and trust,
And grant Sophia and all who love her
Your eternal favor,
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Thank you for sharing the video of your beautiful daughter. I looked to see if there was a St. Sophia, so I could ask her for intercessory help, and lo and behold, there is one! Maybe you already know about her, but if not, her daughter's names were Faith, Hope, and Love, ages 12, 10, and 9. They, in addition to their mother, all passed on to God as martyrs, and I'm certain as a group they'd love to pray for you and your precious daughter.

Remember to keep telling yourself throughout the day, "I trust you Jesus, I trust you Jesus." Some people have been known to say it a thousand times in one day. :)

And please blow a kiss to Sophia from all of us on Free Republic. Thanks again for the video. So sweet. ♥

As I was praying for her, John 17 was put in my mind. It is Jesus’ intercessory prayer. Please read it carefully. Jesus says He and the Father are One and he prays for His apostles to be One with the Father also. Then about verse 17, He prays that we, as later converts would also be One with the Father. It tells me that we have the same position as Jesus had with the Father. If you have the Holy Spirit, you can do what Jesus did on Earth. Don’t deny the power of the church. Ask very carefully that the Father would heal your daughter “in the name of Jesus”. My mother in law was dying of Aplastic Anemia and my wife prayed that Jesus would give her one stem of His bone marrow and she was instantly healed. Pray for your specific need and not a generic prayer. Believe you are as loved as Jesus was by the Father. You can do what Jesus did on Earth. Do you not have the same Spirit that Jesus received at His baptism? Did you not receive the same Spirit Peter and Paul received in Acts 2? It’s a matter of faith. The Holy Spirit is our link with supernatural heaven and we are to call down the power of Heaven into the natural Earth. (Lord’s Prayer) On Earth As it is in Heaven. Most Christians have no idea the power they have if they walk in the Spirit. Don’t ask people to pray that aren’t baptized in the Holy Spirit. Why would you ask people to pray that don’t believe in the supernatural? Do you believe Peter’s shadow healed people as he walked by? If you have the Holy Spirit, you have access to healing’s and other miracles. Amen and Amen. If your daughter has been sick more than usual, you might take her to the elders of the church and have her anointed with oil and prayed over. She may have an evil spirit tormenting her. Sometimes sickness is not sickness. If your church doesn’t do these things, you should seek out one that does.
