All the pieces have obviously not been revealed, but there is clearly some sort of evil plan afoot in regards to ISIS.  I don't know who is for what, and how much is purposeful and how much is apathy, but how can you not see troubling signs here?

Easy to get sucked into that habit but it's better for a FReeper to resist it. Problem about finding (correctly discerning) the patterns in the news is the conflicting propaganda messages sent up.

One way to read the news is to take each article at face value and assume it is 100% true.

The other way is to try to discern the truth from the lies.

I'm not talking about wacko "patterns" like alien messages, etc.

I'm talking about remembering what was published over the years - what the government admits to, for example.

If they, for example, admit to spying on Americans, or backing a revolution in a foreign country.

More than a few times I've posted OLD news articles where government or businesses admitted to some thing, let's call it "X", in response to someone saying "X" was essentially a wacky conspiracy theory I had. I posted, for example, and old NY Times article, or book by a military historian, which publicly declared "X".

After my post of the "old news", the "debater" who inferred that I was a "wacko" promptly goes away. I hope they start to think for themselves - I don't want to berate people, I'm simply putting info out there for people to think on and seek the truth. Sometimes I post just "claims", other times factual sources. In either case - it is my desire that people search for the facts themselves and not blindly trust my claims or news clippings when I post them.

One example of "conspiracy wacko" info - the financial support Jacob Schiff gave the Japanese government in their war against the Russian Empire. I'm just noting a historical fact - which is easily verifiable because the Japanese government bestowed honors on Schiff. It's only after compiling quite a number of facts, and analyzing them as a whole system, that one can start to understand how the world's elites operate.

Once the facts are staring us in the face, and the most simple analysis of them contradicts what we are being told by government, the press or elite financiers/merchants, then when they oppress us and we continue to deny anything is wrong - at that point we are the ones preventing us from beginning to plan and act to right the wrongs perpetrated against us. It's then the ultimate example of "sticking our head in the sand".

Much of what is in the news is carefully crafted lies, effected by exaggerations, omissions, etc. One must carefully sift through stories and analyze them to have any clue about what is really going on, and even with all that effort the details of what is going on in the highest circles of power and influence we have no way of knowing except for an occasional unintentional leak (slip) here and there.

If there is a conspiracy of a handful of strategic players; and I’m am open to theories, then those conspirators plans have been foiled, in their attempt to control; they lost control and now everything is chaotic and out of control, the chess board has collapsed the pieces are scattered all over the floor and crushed under foot, it is every man for himself and the players are packing it in, as it would be foolish to set the board again with so many missing pieces.

For a FReeper who sometimes cannot remember why he went into the kitchen, remembering all these things is a growing problem. But...it's good to keep one's mind as sharp as possible.

Some friendly advice for you, am4g. The names people choose are very often the exact opposite of what is true, sort of like Obamacare being called “The Affordable Care Act” and Eric Holder heading up the “Justice Department”. It’s a well-known tactic of leftists to pose as something that they’re not. And Free Republic is swarming with paid and voluntary trolls who are pretending to be something that they’re not. Very often you can tell them because their behavior is totally the opposite of the moniker they’ve chosen.

There are those here at Free Republic who resist anybody who has something to say other than what the compromised leftist media offers up. They will accuse you of “blog pimping” if you cite somebody besides the compromised leftist media sources and generally try to make a stink that keeps people from sticking around to discuss the meat of important issues on those threads. If they attack your thread, feel honored.

They are the reason for a lot of really good people leaving this site and Freepathons taking so long to complete, but there are still thoughtful people here. More people will see and consider what you’ve posted than will venture a response in infested threads so don’t be discouraged.

It is always best, if possible, to post the entire content from a blog post here - as you did - because Freepers are not known for always clicking on links to outside sites. You might have to click something when you post a thread, to indicate that what you’ve posted is NOT an excerpt so the “This is an excerpt...” statement doesn’t automatically post and send people to a blog - though I was glad I went to this blog because I saw a thought-provoking and well-reasoned post as a result, which introduced me to the thought processes and motivations behind the posts there.

The content you post here will bring more clicks on FR than you will get on any blog from posting at FR but there are those who will act as if your offering your content for free here is actually somehow a disservice to FR. Most people appreciate well-reasoned content and try to ignore the stink created by these others. The saying is “Don’t feed the trolls”, so a lot of people who would like to defend you won’t, just so the trolls will (hopefully) go away. If a poster doesn’t understand that, they could get discouraged. Especially if you stay around to engage in the discussion, you will find the good people of FR and not just the trolls.

Those of us who pay attention will notice that much of the actual truth does actually come out, though it seldom does so in a way that people automatically connect to the correct events and consequences. Years ago I noticed that there were some really interesting nuggets of information to be found in the Wall Street Journal in the little articles that show up seemingly at random as just a paragraph or two.  You had to look for the info, and later remember and correlate them to other things correctly.

Yes, people think some of this stuff is just crazy conspiracy theories. It makes them more comfortable in their lives, and I no longer try to push them beyond their comfort zones, mainly because it really doesn't help things much. They may someday have their own 'light bulb' moment, when things shift in their perceptions to great clarity, but most people never do. From what I've seen, clarity of what's really going on out there can bring anger and unhappiness, and I no longer and driven to bring those fruits to anyone else.

It took me quite a while to figure out how to do a lot of stuff here, and if you look at my tag line, I still have to give myself reminders of how to do things. (My tagline reminds me how to post an image here, using html.)

The point of what you posted is a really critical thing for people to know and truly grasp. There definitely seems to be a connection between Obama and the Islamists - both the terrorist ones and the ones who want to institute sharia through “peaceful” means such as demographics, legal concessions, etc. Obama arms, trains, funds, and provides logistics, access, and excuses for Islamists of every stripe.

It would be really good for somebody to create an index of links that document those connections - though it would be difficult because there are so many facets to the connection. I always said I was going to do a comprehensive post putting the pieces together, but I just haven’t gotten to it yet. Hard to keep up with everything.

The little horn (short guy) in Daniel 7:8 is the ruler/anti-Christ and after he rises three kings are uprooted.

Muammur Kaddafi was the third king uprooted, the other two, Hosni Mubarak and Saddam Hussein. And uprooted is the perfect word as these three had nearly 100 years of combined rule in the M.E. No small feat indeed. Psalm 83 contains the 'list' of the ten nations from Daniel and Revelation.
