Archbishop Fulton Sheen once wrote: There are not over a hundred people in the United State who hate the Roman Catholic Church; there are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church.
I was one of those who hated because of what I wrongly believed about the Catholic Church. The reason I had these beliefs was due to being told what to believe about the Catholic Church from those who were told what to believe about the Catholic Church. No one was willing to find out what the bottom line was concerning the Catholic Church. Everything said about the Church was taken as truth while it seemed no one was delving into what the truth really was.
What about these Catholics? They worshipped Mary. They had a religion but not a relationship with Jesus Christ. They said they believed in God but really their belief couldnt be the same, could it? The Bible says in James 2:19 KJV Thou believest that there is one God; Thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
So do Catholics have a belief such as the devils? When most Catholics are asked if they have been born again or have accepted Christ as their Savior, their main response is I believe in God or I am a good person, or Im Catholic. Also, they have all these rituals, Saints, Statues and what about the Pope is he really standing in for God? Another big item, are they cannibals when they eat the bread and drink the wine during communion? Why do they leave Jesus on the cross, dont they realize Jesus has risen from the dead?

Look how it turned out for Jonah~!

[and others]
You outed yourself as a follower and respecter of the teachings of the cultist Rood. The whole thread is worth reading for anyone unfamiliar with the cultic teachings of Michael Rood.
anyone interested in editor-surveyor’s view of Rood can view this link: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3120992/posts?page=158#158
For this reason and because you denied it earlier, I take back my apology for linking you with the cultic teachings of Rood and Rood himself. There is obviously a link there.
This began because I pointed out that you were associated with Rood. You denied it.
Was your post a lie? It appears to.
In any case, I reinstate my ealier comments to verga that you are involved in a cultic heresy - in this case a fraud.
Your post in answer to mine was false. This is noted. I hope others who were unaware of your affiliations now have a context to evaluate your posts.
Most already knew. But people have been known to change their minds. Perhaps he has.
you: But ONLY if we DRINK it!
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. - I Corinthians 12:13
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him... It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. - John 6:56 and 63
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. - Romans 8:8-9
Hmmmmmm...
Late again.

Sadly, that pretty much describes the state of the RF nowadays. Not only do some of the most bigoted and vociferous threads get posted by them, when non-Caths actually DO post threads about our faith (some that should be agreed to by all genuine Christians), they are usually met with accusations of "hatred", "anti-Catholic", "pot stirring" and "attacking the true faith".
What I find the most hypocritical is when we do defend our faith against those who through arrogance and condescending superiority claim to be the only church Jesus established we are condemned for fomenting anti-Catholic hatred. But, if we don't post threads as frequently as they do we are accused of being "ashamed" of our faith.
Case in point, RnMomof7 has recently posted many threads about the Reformation, what non-Catholics believe as opposed to RCs, the reasons why we believe the Holy Scriptures over doctrines of men and the legacy of the Christian faith that we continue to uphold. Each one has been met with FRoman Catholic vitriol and outrage over the audacity of anyone posting such articles. I'm sure if we NEVER posted another thread they would be delighted as they could continue to transform Free Republic into another Pro-Catholic propaganda website unopposed. For a faith that contends to be THE true one, they sure do exhibit an awful lot of fear of being proved wrong. I don't plan on giving them that power. They don't deserve it.
Neither do I. Got your back.
I'm sure you do! What sad "peopple"!
You left off those with no sense of humor or appreciation of mild sardonicism.
I don't travel in those circles, I prefer Born Again Christians (It's that Joy of The Lord thingie) and other assorted conservative types.
I'm a bit sorry for outing your apparent belief about infant "baptism" but it seemed necessary. The "mark" branding exposed!
Ditto dat!
There are Catholics posting here?
