Some of you may remember my grandson Bryson was born last October 8th, a month premature with Downs' Sundrome and a heart and bowel condition ....
The first surgery was a colostomy on his second day of life and the second was about a month ago to create an anal opening (later to be connected to the colon, now serving the colostomy bag)
The doctors started him on some heart medication in anticipation of an open heart surgery that was known from birth ....
Bryson only has two chambers and the surgery was to correct that
Today, he was brought in for a lung scan of some kind and they found or realized (I don't know which) that he has pulmonary hyper tension (I have no idea what that is ... just passin on information) and that he has about three times more blood in his lungs than an average person (I'm using my DIL's language) and they have him on a ventilator
He was originally supposed to have his heart surgery March 26, but Monday they upped it to March 16
I don't know WHAT they're thinking now
My Son and DIL are 21, first baby, scared and I'm going to pull all markers in on this one
PLEASE pray for Bryson ... AND some of my family members that are talking trash about ... if Bryson dies, God doesn't exist .. and etcetera

Well not good news we will be staying at the hospital i dont know for how long but bryson's results are not good his lungs are damaged an he has 3x the amount of blood in his lungs then the average person he got very sick on oxygen because it exspanded his lungs an allowed more blood flow in there so he is on a venilator an he will be for some time he has two very large holes in his heart an has to have his open heart done within two weeks or his chances of life are low his heart is getting weaker as each day passes even with the meds he is on he has over the normal amount of pressure in his lungs by alot please just send a prayer to bryson thats all we ask nothing else

I will pray and pray hard, knarf. As for your family members who are saying if Bryson dies, God doesn’t exist... I will reserve comment during this horrible time for you EXCEPT to say the last thing your family needs right now is someone to question your belief in Our Lord or His decisions. That being said...
Dear Lord, You being Our Father and we being Your Children. We ask you to pray for our little one, Bryson. Heal his lungs and body Lord. Give his little body the strength of a warrior to fight his illness and surgery. Embrace his parents with Your Grace and Comfort. Lay Your hand on the grandparents shoulders so they may know Your ultimate mercy and love. In This I Pray most humbly. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, I ask that you take Bryson into your strong, loving arms and heal his little body of all disease. Be with his mom and dad and their families, giving them peace and reassurance that their little boy is in the best Hands possible, that Bryson is a precious creation and beautiful in the sight of Almighty God and loved beyond measure.
Thank you, Jesus, for healing Bryson and we praise and worship You for all you are doing!

On a side note: I’m not being hard/rude to the family members, Knarf. I realize they are scared and things are said. However, I also know in our darkest hour.. the points in our life when we wonder if we are loved by God.. sometimes, little voices churn in our minds. That is all I was saying. I’ve been there with the “whispers” about God really being there for you when you needed Him the most. It’s painful.. almost agonizing enough to go through something traumatic like this.. but added stress isn’t helpful. That is all I was saying.
