In recent years, examples of good Christian art have at times been difficult to come by. This is partly due to the increasing preponderance of modern art that is often more focused on making a statement (political, social, or otherwise) and pushing boundaries than on capturing true beauty and uplifting the human spirit.
Despite this, there remain many artists who wish to explore the persons of saints and Biblical figures through their art, whether for their own personal interest or simply because they have been commissioned. The following is a list of nine examples of such art in various styles, as published on the website deviantart.com. While none of the listed examples are what we might call great art, it is nonetheless interesting to see figures like Saint George, Saint Michael, and Moses depicted in the style of a graphic novel.

Not impressed
Looks like a blog pimp. Even less impressed.
LESSER impressed !
The one on the right at the top of the page looks like Barry Soetero’s crypto marxist campaign posters.
let me clarify that the resemblance to campaign posters is only from the colours and style. I do not advocate inserting arrows by any method into any person. Nor do I equate Barry with Saint Sebastian in any way.
Deviant Art would NOT be awesome. No reason to even check your blog.
Why don’t you post this in bloggers
—just an idea.
bkmk
A noob blog pimp at that.
Who only posts hit and run posts and never even comments on the thread he posts or any other for that matter.
It looks like he’s looking on FR as free advertizing.
Hey, that looks like ole what’s-his-name painting: Adam touching the hand of God...Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni!
Wait, are the pictures on your blog or DeviantArt? Why not post the DeviantArt link since that is where the pictures actually are?

“Father and Master of All the Arts”
We don't get too many of them in life.
Modern genius doesn't go into art or music anyway.
It goes into computers, space programs and such.
Those masters of the past in art and music were a gift to us and I fully appreciate them.
Their like will never be seen again.
I like them. I think they would appeal to younger people as well. I especially like the last two of Our Lady.
My artistic talents stop somewhat short of Rembrandt so I appreciate others talents...I thought the pictures were quite well done
