The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not mans standard.

To blindly neglect their own well being and expect an army of Angels to descend to defend them would be a little over the top. The Six Day War..... It'll never happen if you don't trust God for it. The six day war exactly makes my point....God did not do it for them, he allowed them to to establish a defense system adequate to destroy their enemies. They didn't need nuclear power at that time, but the next time, if Iran develops a nuclear weapon.....who knows....only God.

at least they have you duped into believing it. Jesus eating His own flesh and drinking His own blood!!! And that all living under the law of not eating blood. That's a sinful Jesus you guys have. Obviously Jesus cannot sin, therefore whatever He did must be exactly what He expected us to do....He said"DO THIS"...remember that part??

In the Six Day War Israel pre-emptively attacked and destroyed her Arab neighbors in an almost flawless battle plan. Israel attacked as Nasar of Egypt was talking about attacking them.
What defense system are you talking about regarding the Six Day War of 67?

No amount of Scripture showing the error of Catholicism has the least effect on a Catholic who is so sold out to Roman Catholicism. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. I think that you and I both know that the problem is not mine....

Self-declared authority is meaningless. says the person who declared the Catholic church in error, established her own way of seeking salvation, made up the rules as she went along, denied 2,000 years of history, and can't imagine why everyone doesn't understand.....

Oh, I get the opposite impression than yours. I simply do not think y’all worship Jesus. There is too much fake stuff going on like praying to Mary instead of Jesus. I was amazed at the things I have seen on the catholic channel like that and bowing to statues, etc.

For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. It makes sense to me. I have believed that Jesus was referring to Himself when He said that, since I became a Christian in 1970, I just wanted to hear some other opinions.
I think I may have said sometime back that I was baptized in the swimming pool at Bien Hoa Air Base, Republic of Vietnam by a Southern Baptist chaplain, even though at the time, I was a recent convert from the you know what church, and I didn't even know what a Southern Baptist was. Oh well, how things have changed, for the better, I might add.
Carry on sister. Keep up the good work.

ANYTHING THAT THEY SAID that caused you to leave the true church that Jesus Christ founded was a lie...pretty simple!! Deal us some actual facts to support your assertions... Or they remain just your personal beliefs... My belief...and reality states:if someone gives you advice and it causes you to leave the church that Jesus Christ founded.....they were lying.
what don't you understand about that?????

There are none so blind as those who will not see.
I guess Catholic revisionist history keeps you from seeing any history correctly.
The Six Day War, and some other encounters Israel has had with its neighbors, proves that God will defend and is more than capable of it.
And it is also prophesied in the Book of Revelation.
My comment still stands. If you don’t trust God for it, it will NEVER happen.

Do I say that I am some kind of authority?
That the Catholic church is in error is simply because it can be shown to be in error by comparing it to Scripture, not because on my own say so I declare it to be in error.

8 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. the eunuch was rejoicing because he was now a Catholic....see how it works....Thanks Philip!!

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. In many of your posts you post quotations from the Bible which the Catholic church has provided for you...how can you use the book which they gave you to refute them?????amazing

.
The catholic cult had little to do with the Bible, and most of what they did is distorting it.
The real NT, except for the Revelation, was solid by the time Jerusalem was sacked, almost 300 years before Constantine founded his catholic cult.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.I am sure that both of us, and others, were in that same boat. Not too long after I was saved, I looked back and I was appalled at the incredible spiritual blindness I had. I just did not recognize my lost state, but when I did, I fled to the Savior. It was like scales fell from my eyes, as I now understood spiritual principles, that up till then, were just foolishness to me, like in 1st Cor 1:18. I think that spiritual blindness, that I had prior to my conversion, is something I will always remember and will always recoil in horror at. The few brushes with death I had, before that, now make me feel extremely fortunate. I was just that close to hellfire and damnation, but praise God and thanks to His servants in the Navigators, things are different now.

tend to shy away from any group that claims to be the "only true church." There are many of them, who are pretty passionate, among those are the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Philippine Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo, or as I like to call it, Iglesia ni Manalo) Armstrong's World Wide Church of God, Michael Rood's cult; Apollo C Quiboloy's cult, (located only a few miles from where I live) called The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Name Above All Names (bet you never even heard of them) and others too, the absolute worst and most evil cult on earth, Islam. They all claim to be the "one" and are just as sure as you are, that they are right. They may very well be all wrong, but they can't all be right. I think you and I are going to have to agree to disagree. You can attend any church you like. I will do the same. I said nothing about only true (although I could have) what I said was "the true church that Christ founded"...and He did....it's in the Bible, look it up.
