I just started mine in pots the other day. I will also plant some outside a couple of weeks before the last expected frost. (the ground doesn't freeze here).

I love ginger tea. You will find the fresh ginger much better. Don't put too much fresh ginger in unless you like the sting of spicy.

I had polio when I was 2 years old. I couldn't begin to tell the aches and pains that has caused especially now as I get older. If you haven't already do some research on the health benefits of ginger. I suspect you have already.

I agree. Now if we could just agree that the "body" is not restricted to any "denomination" or formally organized "religion".

You can tell by their actions. They are always referring to what someone else did and thinking that it will have an impact on our individual lives.
Well, that would be the case if we followed men instead of Christ, but since we follow Christ, we recognize that each man answers to God and we do not stand and fall based on other’s actions.

You take the constant experience of the Church from the NT up to the present day, and call it a "statistic impossibility"? Yes, I realize that you conceded that the Holy Spirit could pull it off, but you don't seem to think it happens much, when in fact it happens all the time, praise be to God!
Some wonderful Christians evidently were committed to God from their childhood, but there's a good big bunch that don't really commit until they have an adult conversion experience.
I guess my perception is shaped by my experience on our parish RCIA Teaching Team. We're seeing these adult relaionships with Jesus root, bud and bloom in adults.
We need many more. Many, many more.

Does not destroy the temples, vestments, practices and other rituals and beliefs of pagans. As an example we could look at the Pantheon. It was a temple to all the gods of the pagans. Instead of destroying it as God commanded it was used as a Temple by Catholics. Another would be the vestments worn by priests. The pointed mitre worn by priests is the same as worn by priests to the pagan fish god Dagon. The Catholic Church, by it's own admission incorporated much of paganism under the guise of "baptising them". That was strictly forbidden by God.
But we do agree on that.
Having lived up there for those nearly two years I think you could if you start them in pots then replant outdoors after the last frost. I would think if you leave rhizomes like lilies in the ground you could do the same with ginger if you deep mulch them but I can’t be sure. It would be worth a try.
That could be amended as the vast majority of Catholics have no concept of a personal savior.
If you do, that’s great.
But what I’ve found talking to Catholics and saying something like that is they either look at you like you have two heads, or are speaking another language, or their eyes just glaze over.
The concept that you could go right to Jesus without going through the church or a priest or some other Catholic church approved means, never occurs to them.
They just don’t think it’s possible to do it that way.
I know it's developed the right bacteria when I see bubbles around the top before I stir it. That's a sign the bacteria is digesting the sugar producing carbon dioxide. That normally happens here about the second day after starting a new batch. If I used some from the old batch it's pretty much continuous like it is with sour dough.
BTW I have never been able to get bread to rise with just sourdough starter. I'd have never enjoyed bread before the availability of yeast I suppose.
Unless they get out of that mindset they will never understand. If they only understood that it has no affect on us what "Protestants do or believe" they would understand that trotting out those old memes is worthless.
I can walk with a cane (in a mincing wincing way) but to be reasonably pain free I need a diclofenac topical application (Voltaren) and/or prednisolone which I pulverize in my spice grinder and mainly add to the Voltaren to apply topically, not orally, so it doesn't eventually kill me dead. (I get this all this stuff OTC online from Poland, India, and other countries that have this neat system, what's known as a "Free Market," now sadly missing from the USA.)

And it varies from year to year, of course!
Nothing to complain about, though. It does not get crushingly, killingly hot in summer, nor does it get so very cold or snowy in winter. No tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes or hurricanes, either. Just the occasional tornado, only once I can remember on the southern edge of our county. Only hit the double-wides, of course. (Why is that??)

When I was younger (through I would say 50) it was primarily my right leg. As I got older it spread and I got concerned. I was told that as you get older the polio begins to affect again. It's called post polio syndrome and simply caused more loss of strength. Now at near 70 it's nearly impossible to walk more than 100 yrds and that with the support of a cane or staff and working on my feet impossible after about 10 minutes. I do all my gardening on my rear end crawling on the ground. It's not pretty but it gets the job done. In the green house and in my shop I have a stool on wheels.
LOL You can have em. I stumble over a slight rise in elevation and temps below 50 cause my joints to stiffen up like molasses.
