Dad is going in to the hospital tomorrow for treatment of atrial fibrillation. They are going to try to shock his heart back into rhythm. If that doesn't work it's a pacemaker.
Dad is 87, an Army Vet, wounded in an explosion in 1946 in the Phillipines while the US was supporting the Phillipine gov't during the Huk rebellion after WW2 .
Mom and my sisters are upset.
He's the most honorable man I've ever met and he and Mom are my best friends. They've been married 64 yrs.
Thank you for sharing your family’s story. Prayers up for your fabulous father.
Prayers, ascending.
Praying!
Prayers for him, and for your family.
You have a great family, Eagles6. Prayers up for your wonderful dad, may he come through the procedure with flying colors.
My neighbor had that procedure a couple of years ago. And went out for breakfast with her kids a couple of hours later. Hope your dad has a similar experience. God bless you all.
My prayers for your hero Dad and your family, particularly your Mom.
Lord, hear our prayers.
Prayers up!
Praying.
Prayers up for your Dad!
Prayers for your dad! My dad would have been 88 this year and he was a WWII vet, it is hard to lose such men of honor, family, and country!
Dear Lord, touch this honorable man, father, and husband with your healing hand.
Prayers up. This touched me as we have my 86 year old father in law, who has weathered some health issues, with us. He, your parents, and their generation generally are a tremendous blessing. Here’s wishing your Mom and Dad many more happy years.
Prayers up my FRiend...
Sending prayers!
I will keep you in my prayers.
I know this is scary, but that is pretty routine. Hang in there. he should be fine.
Holy Father your Son Jesus is worthy of all praise and glory. We ask that divine healing powers replenish to full health Eagles6’s father. Thy will be done.
Got it buddy!
Best wishes on your dad’s recovery.

Don’t worry, they know what they are doing. I had an atrial flutter (3 small beats instead of one beat on the top of the heart). They shocked it and I have had a normal beat since...knock on wood. Good luck to your old man...sounds like he has a long life with a good son!
