Are Joel Osteen's teachings Biblical? Are they in line with ancient church belief? What does he teach and where do his views come from? This documentary is the most comprehensive video refutation and expose of Joel Osteen that exists. Feel free to upload this video to your channel and share it with anyone deceived into prosperity teachings. www.KeithTruth.com
Really?
Prove it.
Show me where Jesus NEVER criticized false prophets.
I think Joel may be off message in areas, but I feel he is probably trying to lead folks to Christ that otherwise are not presently.
Perhaps the milk rather than the meat sort of speak. I dunno, guess I've just gotten a lil wore out by all the Christian backbiting and mixed messages.
Non-Christians look at Christians in many instances and think, “Geez, if they can't agree”.
**Non-Christians look at Christians in many instances and think, Geez, if they can’t agree.**
So we should agree just to get along? Where do we draw the line?
I'm only commenting based off of things I've heard previously, but I do understand what the argument is regarding Joel and his wife.
I am an old traditionalist. If I had my way, I'd have all old hymns, stained glass, upside down boat gothic architecture, organ with big tall pipes, communion at every service, cassocks, smells and bells...you name it. lol
ping for later.
> Christ the messiah of the world. His atoning blood.
> Holy Trinity - Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
> We stand before a holy God through Jesus’ righteousness alone. Ya can't earn your way to heaven.
If you search and search...finally find the perfect church, whatever you do, don't join it. You will ruin it with your presence. That's a joke folks.
Y'all have a great weekend.
Yeah, looks like the Joker without the makeup.
Sounds like an interesting story, will see if the library has it.
Your post 22 is too full of contradictions of yourself in the same post.
What all those denominations have in common is they were birthed from the mother church-the roman catholic church..
and that is their problem- they accept the false premise that the greco roman Latin mother church represents the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Beloved Son Yahshua..
They do not... everything, right down to the greco roman latin name they use for the Hebrew savior, can be studied and explained away as a greco roman latin construct.
Dare one say a counterfeit or false savior..
That would really mess with the Joel Osteen’s program as much as the pope’s..
But the whole foundation of Christendom would be at stake with that study...
Pardon my first post to you. It was your Yoda-speak that misled my comprehension of your point. Carry on.
Not necessarily.
It's not an accurate conclusion to come to that just because there are different denominations, that they all interpret the Bible differently and that there are thousands of interpretations of Scripture.
There are a few areas where there are major differences, but there are many areas, that are not matters essential for salvation, where there is liberty to believe as you will. That even exists within Catholicism, as evidenced by the number of *rites* that exist in it.

Can you be a little more obtuse in what you’re trying to communicate?
Show me where I said Jesus never criticized false prophets.
(Hint, I didn’t).
The religious people of His day called out prostitutes, tax gatherers and such. Then the religious people drug them to Jesus to see what He would do.
The ‘lamb slain from the foundation of the world’ first ‘called out’ the religious people (hypocrites). Then charged the accused to ‘go and sin no more’. Jesus had the authority to do that be cause HE DIED FOR THEM - both camps.
If we use Him as our example, I believe we can judge - after we have laid down our life for them. I don’t think Jesus took pleasure in calling out the religious/hypocrites in His day. As I read these threads, I think most of the ‘righteous judgements’ thrown out don’t meet His standard.
