Spelling intentional.
Classy
FR Catholic defenders (the Vatican version of CAIR) who will say this is an isolated incident and not reflective of true Catholicism arriving in 3... 2... 1...
Either the Church aggressively purges homosexuals from the clergy and ends the portal of mandatory clerical celibacy, the molestation of young boys by vile homosexual priests will continue and the people will lose faith. Sorry but if you accept a position in the hierarchy your job is in fact to be judgmental and take action.
Come on, Pope-dude, that’s so not hip. I mean, they might want to get married in a multi-partner-species relationship, and the church needs to get with the times.
Man, those Catholics are a wild and crazy crowd!
In before the FRomans who try to minimize this by claiming the rate of Protestant pastors posing naked online is greater...
Will they be de frocked for being de frocked?
“A scandal-ridden Catholic diocese in Italy where priests posted naked photos of themselves on gay websites, raided church coffers and sexually harassed parishioners is to be investigated by a special envoy to Pope Francis.”
This is just a battle of factions. Like with the mob,
someone is moving in on Francis the popes territory.
After all, all he’s going to do is forgive them anyway.
A friend of mine just returned from overseas from being in the Dominican.
I said something to him about the number of people converting from Catholicism to Evangelical churches and he asked me if I knew why.
What he found out while down there is that the priest abusing parishioners, particularly boys, is so much worse down there than it is here. The people have finally had it with the situation. They are not putting up with it any more and are leaving, voting with their feet as it were.
And Dr. T is not disappointed.......
where priests posted naked photos of themselves on gay websites
"We must get to the bottom of this."
Fire the lot of them. “Defrocking” seems the wrong word, under the circumstances.
LOL
Who is he to judge?
lol
did he finally find something he can call a sin??
And value their gifts?
This is what happens when you try to help “black sheep”. Some improve, some do not. Our Christian sensibilities from Jesus’ example tell us to try. Scandal can arise - the proverbial “no good deed goes unpunished” “mess”.
OK, so root these guys out and toss them in the clink. You have to try to help “black sheep” but all the same, due to their higher risk, the good bishop should have likewise monitored them much more closely and toughly...as you would a troubled teen in your loving foster home.
