My wife just found out today that her store will close in about two months and she may be laid off. That will leave only my small V.A. pension and that won't cut it. Plus she won't have health insurance. We need your prayers. Thanks.
Prayers up
You’re on our daily prayer list.
What field are you in?
I know that the road has been rough for you my friend. I have no way to personally help you but I will pray for you and keep you in my thoughts and if there is ever a way I can assist I will attempt to do so as soon as I can.
Keep your chin up and continue to think positive!
Prayers for God’s Providence to meet your every need, 2ndDivisionVet. Keep us posted.
At 80%, you can apply for IU individual unemployability - assuming that you are unable to be gainfully employed because of your service connected disabilities. Your best be is to go to your POA (power of attorney) to file the claim for you. By POA, I mean a service organizations (such as DAV, VFW, American Legion, etc.) they help Veterans obtain their Veterans benefits. They can explain IU and help you file your claim. And if you have already applied for it and were denied (if within the one year period since the decision, you can file a NOD - notice of disagreement). It is worth your time to do this!
With Vietnam era service, there are many “presumptive” conditions that the VA has identified - again your POA can explain and assist. PLEASE look into this!
You have my prayers.
You bet, and will continue to do so.
We will be holding Y’All in our prayers. DH was unemployed for about a week longer than a year. I believe it was Joe 6 pack who said that God Would Provide & he was so right. One more week would have been disastrous when the job he has now came from waaay out in left field. & it’s a good one.
Have faith.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
