As the battle for marriage equality rages on, a different, more obscure kind of sexual immorality is slowly rearing its ugly head: polygamy.
Polygamy is defined as the "the custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time," a practice which directly violates the Biblical commandment instructing marriage to be between a single man and wife (1 Timothy 3:2, 12 and Titus 1:6).
However, the secular media is increasingly attempting to normalize, and even glamorize this kind of perverted lifestyle.
Showtime is airing an original series called Polyamory: Married & Dating, which follows two polyamorous families living in Southern California. The show follows in the footsteps of "Sister Wives," which shows a depicting a man "happily married" to three wives.
Most recently, NBC released a show called True Believers, in which viewers get an inside look into what it's like to "live with multiple partners without sacrificing the comforts of home." The producers get up close and person with five adults and a 9-year-old girl who see nothing amiss with their lifestyle.
Jennifer LeClaire, author of "The Making of a Prophet" calls the push for polygamy a "new level of debauchery," warning that it will soon follow in the footsteps of the homosexual agenda in becoming a national issue.
"The prince of the power of the air is using media to push a new level of debauchery to generations young and old," she writes. "ABC has preached the "gospel of polyamory" in its attempt to move past gay marriage into further destruction of God's plan for the family." "Slowly and steadily, the push for polyamory is rising in the media, in many ways taking a page from the gay agenda's playbook. Polyamory is already a legislative issue in Canada. Rest assured, America is next. The shadow of Sodom and Gomorrah hangs over America. Perversion is rising. Currently, polyamory is illegal in 21 states, but recent polls suggest that number may change. NBC reports that 5 percent of people in the United States are in polyamorous relationships and reveals there are over 900 in Atlanta's polyamory community. LeClaire warns against complacency, saying Christians have an obligation to protect God's plan for the family and protect the next generation. She encourages Christians to unite together and pray for the preservation of traditional marriage. "If we sit by and complain or stick our heads in the sand, arguing that Christians should not be discussing these issues, then we're admitting defeat and displeasing Christ. But if you believe that God can deliver some from the grip of immorality...then drop to your knees and join with me in intercessory prayer. It's not only about setting the captives free-it's about protecting the next generation of young minds the media is molding.
I figure “one man and one woman” is in the Bible for a very good reason. The good Lord knew that the stress of a multiple partner household would be too difficult to maintain.
Of course, I have fantasized about having “Brother Husbands”, lol. A plumber that landscapes as a hobby, an electrician that mechanics as a hobby and a doctor that loves to cook with a brother who is a veterinarian. They would all maintain highly successful businesses.
It won’t be the same polygamy, as what we see with the Mormons or Muslims. It will be group marriage, like a hippy commune with everyone having sex with each other.
A large percentage of the world has legal polygamy (mainly the Muslim world). A much stronger case can be made for polygamy than for same sex marriage.
“You dont seriously justify polygamy on the basis of past primitive social systems.”
If you ask me which violates God’s law and natural law, homosexuality or polygamy, I’d say homosexuality.
Now, I also wrote “No, I dont want polygamy legal either.” However, it is not unnatural for a male mammal to mate with more than one female. And while scripture doesn’t hold polygamy up as the best, neither does it roundly condemn it or say it is perverse.
Sodomy is the worst thing a guy can do.
Reality will have its revenge. First came the gay bathhouse scene of the 1970s, with AIDS following close behind. Now we have all of that coming back with the AIDS drugs, so a new bug is going to exploit that wonderfully easy transmission niche.
Meningitis is already out there. Maybe some form of Ebola will be next?
Next will be a new “Gospel” proving that Jesus had two or more wives. all named Mary. At least Polygamy is Biblical!
Probably should have been first, makes more sense than...
>>Unlike homosexual marriage, there arent any groups openly calling for it to become legal...

Excellent graphic.
And we’re seeing the same shifts in the APA diagnostic manual. Thinking your gender is different than your anatomy isn’t a mental illness unless you are upset about it or suicidal. Sexual attraction to children isn’t harshly condemned any more, even as they push to make sexual education to younger and younger ages mandatory. Polygamy is more acceptable, especially two gay couples raising children together and “open marriages” that destroy the meaning of marriage.
NAMBLA has been part of the gay movement from the start and still is integral.
Imagine the simplicity in Donald Trump’s life. Adding a new wife no longer requires paying off the old one.
In the book “N-Space”, a sci-fi anthology, Superman using in vitro fertilization and then acting as a male surrogate parent for his child was proposed as the way to save his race.
If there is nothing "special" about marriage being between one man and one woman; then, what is so special about the number 2?
Once you re-define something, it is open to being re-defined over and over again. The Left always denies the slippery slope; but, a slippery slope is inevitable. Once one group gets to redefine an institution for their agenda, you simply cannot keep out other re-definitions.
Lots of people have been predicting this. I’m convinced it will eventually happen. Sigh.
Adult-child sex is next.
Did you hear what happened in Italy last year?

I like E.T. Williams’ response to it-

“Big deal Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon, and others all had multiple wives....”
Yes, and in each case these plural “wives” brought them grief and harmed the Kingdom of Israel and the world. Also, by the time the Lord Jesus was on earth, plural marriage was no longer recognized. It actually was never “sanctioned” by God at all....more or less tolerated at best.
Ditto.
