Again, thank you to all who are praying for us...From FRiends to Pastors many are lifting requests to heaven...it is comforting to know, more than can be expressed in words.

Amanda is home with us now...she attended her first NA meeting last night...a small step...but one in the right direction...it was insanely comforting to know she was under our roof last night...I finally got some sleep.

Amanda has an intake meeting for out-patient care next Monday...she will hopefully start continuing treatment shortly thereafter.

The consequences for her actions are starting to surface....besides the impending issues with the law, she will likely be losing her job and will face problems being accepted back at school given this semester she likely failed most, if not all, her classes.

I pray she learns from such...but in the end it is up to her to take hold of her future....and fight for it. She is young, her path in life is just being discovered...so it is there for the taking.

Prayer, it has given my wife and I strength, so much has happened over the last week....not just with Amanda...but on the work front....and in losing a family member...it has been like trying to hold firm as tidal wave moves past...

So again, thank you...please keep us in your thoughts and prayers....updates will come...and hopefully...with much more joy attached....yet I understand there is a long way to go...and the road will not always be easy.
