My prayers are with you all.
BTTT
The Lord is truly good to those who love Him.
Prayers for your daughter and the rest of your family.
While I was never caught up in any substance abuse troubles, I did drop out of school after the 9th grade and spent the next 14 years living for myself instead of being responsible.
The consequences are still visiting me to this day. My anger at God and everyone else in my way destroyed two marriages, buried a son, and to this day I only have a lukewarm relationship with one of three children. My current wife’s confinement to a wheelchair is even indirectly related to the lifestyle I refused to stop living.
It wasn’t until I gave up the fight and accepted the Lord as my Savior that my life began to get better. Unfortunately the destruction I left behind was devastating, and the many bridges I burned may never be rebuilt.
Through it all there was my mother always hoping and praying that I would let go of the anger I had and quit trying to be the master of my own soul. It worked, because I finally quit kicking at the goads and gave the reigns to Christ.
It’s my prayer that your daughter will also give up her fight and allow Christ take control, and realize how much you cherish and love her.
God bless you PR,
OV
