I think that there is a Bob Jones University. There was some controversy about that a few years ago.

He was another two-bit charismatic false prophet. He was part of a movement called the Kansas City Prophets. The last time I heard about old Bob he was accused of sexual “ministering” women who weren’t his wife.

I seriously question anyone who claims a vision as from God with no way to verify but by the word of the one proclaiming... seen too many self appointed “prophets” gathering followers unto themselves all the while driving big flashy cars and wearing flashy clothes, claiming “They Are The King’s Kids”... fleecing their flocks is generally how they pay for their “well deserved deserts”.

the archangel Gabriel appeared to him on a white horse and blew a double silver trumpet in his face.

That would probably explain his hearing loss........

“According to Jones’ website, when he was only 7 years old and walking on a dirt road in Arkansas, the archangel Gabriel appeared to him on a white horse and blew a double silver trumpet in his face.”

I hate it when that happens.

First clue: real prophets go by a single name, like, say, Jeremiah or Evangelista! Bob Jones’s a good name for a hot dog stand seller.

I know someone who was at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship and Bob Jones announced "The angel Breakthrough is here."

My friend thought to himself "Yeah right".

5 minutes later he had a life changing encounter with the angel Breakthrough.

Don't kill the messenger. I just am passing on what I was told, for what it's worth. Your mileage may vary.

How is the football program of the Bob Jones University, better than U of Penn?

Sorry to break the bad news, but he was not a prophet.

God is right 100% of the time. If He appoints a man to be a prophet for Him, He will never tell that prophet anything that is wrong.

So, if a man calls himself a prophet from God, everything He tells you that will happen will happen. If he is wrong even just one time, he is not from God.

Bob Jones may have been a good man, but he was no prophet from God. Sorry, but God is NEVER wrong.
