When is the Rapture ?
Jesus is coming 2016 ^ | current | Jesus is coming 2016

Why I believe the Rapture of the Church

will take place between December 25, 2013,

and January 4, 2014

The Lord has been giving me pieces to a puzzle for the last 13 years, leading me to the date for the firstfruits Rapture of the Church. The puzzle ends between December 25, 2013, and January 4, 2014. I very strongly believe that the Rapture will take place on January 3/4, 2014. However, it is possible that the puzzle can end as early as December 25, 2013.

The gospel has been preached to ALL languages? There are no unreached people-groups? I don’t think so.

Where has it not been preached? Seriously. There are even bibles in Antarctica.

Yup. And Revelation 7, after the sealing of the 144,000, describes the results of that gathering.

For discussion

The usual nonsense that comes from trying to finagle one's way past Jesus' "No one knows the day or the hour".

Perhaps a mid tribulation rapture.

That’s been my position for a couple of decades. However, I’ve learned it is now described as “post tribulation, pre Wrath”.

I became a Christian at about 29 years of age. I went to a medium sized AG church and they preached pre-trib. One of the teachers there taught it on a fairly regular basis. His sunday school class had about 60 people in attendance.

At the time I just accepted what I was told on a lot of “complicated” subjects within the church. Tongues was one. This was another.

Anyway, one day I read a book that supported the mid-trib position. After presenting my strong questions to this teacher, he handed me a white paper he wrote defending the pre-trib position. I was excited to be reconvinced. Who wouldn’t want to believe the pre-trib message? But after reading both sides, I saw his position depended way too much on alledged symbolism of the bible in prophesy (and not just in Revelation) rather than plain language. His white paper convinced me that his analysis was seriously flawed.

Yes, I was very disappointed, but the good news is that after studying both sides, I am confident in what I believe and can support it without just referring to someone more knowlegeable than me who makes the claim.

Your own words kill your hypothesis and deny what Jesus said. You quote Matthew 24:29 and underline “after” the tribulation to indicate you believe that is when Jesus will gather the church. Then you tell me “The tribulation is only 42 months or 1260 days” so exactly 1260 days from when the tribulation starts Jesus will return. That gives us an exact day for Jesus return yet Jesus said “no one would know the day nor the hour”.

I study ALL of scripture in context, not charts. You can make all the snarky comments you want about studying scripture not charts but scripture clearly tells us that your views cannot be correct.

I suspect that you have made up your mind so see no reason to spend time trying to help you understand Daniel’s prophesy which is the beginning of understanding the end times. Until you understand that prophesy you will run headlong into scripture that contradicts your claims.

We're closer to it than we were yesterday. Not as close as we're gonna be tomorrow.

Other than that I don't know.

There's something about Damascus being reduced to a heap of ruins that fits in the timeline somewhere, along with some other stuff.

The important thing for me is to do what I need to do, and to not do what I don't need to do, to prepare for it.

Yup. I read Jonathan Cahn's book The Harbinger a while ago. He does not even try to predict the future--he merely describes what has already happened.

Given the puzzle pieces he put together, The events, and their timing, I'm gonna guess Sept 2015.

BTW--in regards to the Scripture I've seen thrown around in this thread--It is true it says no one knows the date/time. But it does not forbid us from trying to figure it out. :)

Ah yes! The Preterist Gary DeMar who asserts that all prophesy has been fulfilled and that the resurrection of Daniel 12:2 happened in A.D. 70. He claims it was a spiritual rather than a physical resurrection. The likes of DeMar, Gentry, and Rushdoony should be shunned like the plague.

We are very clearly told to recognise the signs. The analogy in the bible is of a farmer choosing his day to harvest. When he plants, he doesn’t know what day he’s going to harvest, but as the day approaches, the estimates go from “sometime in the fall” to “early September” to “Sometime next week” to “looks like it’ll rain tomorrow, I had better bring the crop in today.”

I think we are getting close to the last one. The corn looks great and it could be harvested any day. It could be today or tomorrow or any time in the next week.

No one but God the father knows the date and time of the end of the world.

Besides that, the rapture is not believable, where some are taken and some left behind.

First of all it's not the end of the world. It's the end of the age of grace. After the 7 year tribulation, there is the 1000 year reign of Christ, followed by a new heaven and earth.

Of course you're correct, because we can't really believe what Scripture says, right? Try reading Matthew 24:39-42

I caution against setting a time or season. The Lord will come as the Father arranges it. Pointing to news events is not profitable. Continue with prayer and supplication, sharing the good news of Christ’s birth and glorious return.

Thanks for the welcome. I have Message to spread. I did not know that preaching the Word of God was considered “trolling”. Sorry I replied to you post!

Actually it has.

I have a good friend who is a translator for Wycliff.

All the “languages” have been translated...

there are some “dialects” they are still working on.

She said there are several interpretations about Matt. 24:14 with regard to whether it means all languages.

Anyway, we are closer.

LOL I would suggest familiarizing yourself with the extent of “preaching the Word of God” on this site and how it is not only allowed but encouraged. I’ll leave it to others to explain how excerpting ones own blog is viewed.
