A Catholic priest in Pennsylvania has been charged with molesting a teenage boy after police said he was found in a car on a college campus with a 15-year-old who was wearing no pants, according to a police criminal complaint filed Friday in Lackawanna County.
The Rev. W. Jeffrey Paulish was charged with one felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and one felony count of unlawful contact with a minor after Dunmore police say they found him and the boy on Thursday in a car on the Worthington Scranton campus of Penn State University, according to the complaint.

It worked for Sandusky
No one ever claimed such a thing. I'm sure there are still some out there, but they will be dealt with swiftly by the Church and the authorities.
This is like saying all an alcoholic needs is more booze.
It was a young boy, not a grown woman. Marriage does not cure homosexual behavior.
You mean like the character Tim Conway played on the Carol Burnett Show? Why not put him on the case. It should be solved around 2050. MAYBE..
No, it doesn’t. But there are MANY Catholic heterosexuals who want to be priests but can’t live a celebate life.
Give THEM a chance and THEY will drive out the sodomites!!
You are reading something into my posts that simply isn’t there. It is evil in the sight of God regardless of age of the victim. The issue I am pointing out is that the MEDIA continues to report this as pedophilia. Lro-sodomites then go on to quote statistics that most pedophia is committed by beterosexuals. This masks that the priest molestations are a HOMOSEXUAL problem. The victim is no less a victim. But the culprits need to be identified for what they are.
“But the presence of normal men in normal realtionships will discourage their presence.”
It doesn’t seem to work that way for the Anglican or Episcopal churches.
I think the peak and decline of abuse in the late 70s/early 80s corresponds to the acceptance of homosexuality in the broader culture.
Ask yourself why homosexual men would bother to join a group that will never accept them openly, when the rest of society does more and more? By the early 70s there were whole communities of openly homosexual men living together, something that never happened on that level before, at least in the modern era. They could get jobs, and in some of them they were celebrated, acedemia, fashion, politicsthey were on TV and in popular culture more and more. The 80s were more extreme, the following decades more so and on to what we have today.
The theory is that gays hid in the Catholic Church because of the celibacy discipline, it was from the broader culture in a group that mandated that they couldnt get married. So they had cover. Now, they dont need to hide anywhere, they can get married in 13 states with several others recognizing those marriages as well as many aspects of the federal gubberment, in many areas it is against the law to discriminate against them.
If they want to get into religion, there are many faiths that will now eagerly put them in positions of leadership, where they can be openly gay in celebrated relationships, and never have the Churchs unchanging plain teaching as concerns homosexual acts hurt their feelings. I mean, how likely is a group that still doesnt accept civil divorce and remarriage, as well as birth control within marriage to go ahead and accept homosexual relationships?
As far as the discipline of celibacy being valuable, it seems like liberal Catholics are the ones who think it is the least valuable and want it ended the most. Try to find one liberal Catholic that is all for things like gay marriage, priestesses, civil divorce and remarriage, abortion, and birth control but also thinks the discipline of celibacy is valuable and should be continued.
Freegards
Yes ... swiftly. Like the priest (or should I say ex-priest) in this article. He’s done. He’ll go to jail. Story over. I just hope there weren’t others before this young man. This pervert will get his justice.
Baloney! We have a record number of seminarians in the Diocese of Dallas. Many other dioceses are reporting the same thing. Plenty of able Catholic men are answering the call.
But no-one asks why Craigs List is allowing 15-year-olds to meet up with older men for sex.”
Remember the cartoon of a dog, sitting in the chair at the computer, saying to the cat watching him, “On the Internet nobody knows you are a dog.”
Craigslist ads reflect the culture of the people (term used very casually) who place them. QUeers palce ads for queers and those are the ones with the nasty images. Females seeking a husband (or a hiioup) seem to have evolved in that they place fewer ads with pictures.
Too bad the queers do post images.
Craigslist ads will someday be mined for data about the changing aspect of American culture. Said researcher had better have a wholesale supplier of BrainBleach and wire brushes, however.
You need to back that up with something.
The problem was letting the sodomites into the priesthood. Before the demoralization of the priesthood after 1968, the seminaries were murder on seminarians who came because they liked to be with the boys, and even those who made it through to ordination were secretly laicized in greater numbers than we used to hear about. Then in the 70s, with vocations crashing, the bishops were keeping the scrubs and the losers. So we got the Hollow priesthood and that did not begin to change until the late 80s and even then not everywhere.
any protestant denomination? BS
We hear this from muslim community... a boo hoo that the media is mean and highlights the criminals of their fold.. stop enabling the diddling little boys and committing crimes and the media will pick on some other group...
I do hope and I pray you’re right. So many injustices, so little time.
One of the primary functions of a priest is to give advice to married couples. How can you do this if you yourself are not married? All the priests whom we know come from big families of non-divorced, very married, parents. They know ALL about marriage, and what it takes to procure a healthy one.
The CNN title avoids using the location ...Penn State
There’s the word.
The priest should be defrocked and sent to California.
Thank you so much for your kind offer, however since we have a surplus of deviants here as it is we shall have to decline your thought full suggestion. But since you feel he should be relocated I can suggest setting up a fund to relocate him to your fine state.
