A Catholic priest in Pennsylvania has been charged with molesting a teenage boy after police said he was found in a car on a college campus with a 15-year-old who was wearing no pants, according to a police criminal complaint filed Friday in Lackawanna County.
The Rev. W. Jeffrey Paulish was charged with one felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and one felony count of unlawful contact with a minor after Dunmore police say they found him and the boy on Thursday in a car on the Worthington Scranton campus of Penn State University, according to the complaint.

I have no ability to describe to you how ridiculously offensive this excuse from Rome sounds.
I totally disagree. Homosexuality in the Catholic Church was NOT a problem until the sodomites broke out of the closets they were nailed into by western society. When that happened, they moved openly into environments favorable to their unhindered activities.
I KNOW Catholics who have told me as much. It was not a problem back in the 1960s and the 1950’s or earlier. It became a problem under more liberal Popes like John XXIII and some of his successors.
The Protestant Denominations also have their problems with the sodomites, but an environment which encourages a male/female relationship is less attractive to these perverts.
I know enough about the Catholic CHurch to know the difference between “God’s Law” and “Church Law”. The Catholic Church CAN change “CHurch Law” and the ban against married priests is Church Law. Currently the Catholic Church permits married priests in the eastern orders of the Catholic CHurch, and until at some point in the early Middle Ages - possibly as a result of the Cluniac Reforms, marrige was allowed throughout the Catholic CHurch. Recently, married Episcopalian Priests were permitted to become Catholic priests. So I don’t understand this opposition.
One of the primary functions of a priest is to give advice to married couples. How can you do this if you yourself are not married?
Everything possible today should be done to encourage normal stable, permanent, traditional marriages between a man and a woman and a stable family environment. Children born out of wedlock, serial marriages under divorces, sodomites living openly, etc, all are contributing to the destruction of society, Christianity and western civilization.
This has absolutely zero to do with allowing priests to marry. I know this man personally and attended church where he served. He was an alcoholic and a very disturbed individual. He had been on leave many times. The parishioners feel devastated and betrayed. What disturbs me most about this whole story is that there are pedophiles in very walk of life. But yet as soon as the media finds out that in this case it is a catholic priest...it is instant national news. Once again the entire priesthood will be painted with a broad brush because of the actions of one disturbed individual. More fodder to feed anti catholic bigotry.
Who said it was an excuse? Just calling it by its right name, which tbe press refuses to do.
I couldn’t agree more.
“What about that?”
The Catholic CHurch itself would NEVER condone maraiges beween sodomites. The state allows the murder of babies and the Catholic Church has been an outstanding opponent of that practise.
“Men who prefer men/boys arent going to suddenly desire female to satisfy their urges.”
Right. They are lost. But the presence of normal men in normal realtionships will discourage their presence.
” I have no problem with married heterosexual priests, but the idea of homosexual married priests is abominable. Its not about marriage- its about homosexuality being against the laws of God and the Church, period!”
Totally agree but I believe allowing priests to marry WOMEN will drive the sodomites OUT.
Maybe this priest hasn’t read or seen any news for the last umpteen years. 10% possibility there is a reasonable explanation like the kids pants got wet somehow....like I am saying, I sorta doubt it.
I swear the entire world needs a massive reset.
Even should I be lost in the process, this just can’t go on.
You’re right. Remember all the “ADVICE” Dr. Benjamin Spock gave to parents? THe same Dr. Spock who NEVER had children. And we all know how well those generations of kids turned out..
"Get your pants off and get in there, and I will tell you what I think." Doctors always want your pants off.
"Take your pants off! The doctor would like to see you with no pants. Just get them off."
"But it's my head...."
"I said 'take your pants off!'"

CNN is always on the “hunt” to attack Christians and Christian institutions.
That is why it is important to do everything logical to prevent these people from soiling Christians. If this guy had such an unsavory reputation, the members of that diocese should be demanding the removal of all clergymen there who helped this sodomite betray them by not taking action against him.
Who said it was an excuse? Just calling it by its right name, which tbe press refuses to do.
What age did this post-pubescent boy get assaulted? And wonder if the assault took place anywhere near a holy building?
Does the 'church' really believe that God distinguishes the 'age' victim of the act as relevant? All this deception that perverts are born that way is simply a finger pointed at God.
Exactly how does allowing priests to marry cure them from wanting to molest young boys? Fags cannot marry in God’s eyes and any marriage to a woman would be a facade.
I would think heterosexual marriage would only aid in priest/parishioner affairs being curtailed.
Sandusky was married for years.
Happened in Likeaweenie County no less.
“Exactly how does allowing priests to marry cure them from wanting to molest young boys?”
READ my prior posts. It won’t cure sodomites. It WILL create an environment far less inviting for them. It will drive them from the clergy.

Yes.
Married men can serve as part of the permanent diaconate TODAY. I believe they can perform the functions of a priest except confect the Sacrament of Eucharist, hear Confessions and grant absolution, and anoint the sick.
