Pray for our American Heroes and Nation

Father God, we come to You in the name of Jesus with the faith You gave us to lean our entire personality on You in absolute trust and confidence in Your power, wisdom and goodness.

We pray for our United States military men and women. “Deliver them from their enemies, O my God; Defend them from those who rise up against them. Deliver them from the workers of iniquity and save them from bloodthirsty men. For look, they lie in wait for their life;” (ps. 59:1-3) As we ponder this prayer, we think of both physical and spiritual enemies both outside and within our borders. This is not too hard for You! Grant our military wisdom in all they do, favor from You, our people and politicians and Your anointing to be a success. Thank You, Sir.

For our United States, we pray, “Let fall in showers, you heavens, from above, and let the skies rain down righteousness [the pure, spiritual, heaven-born possibilities that have their foundation in the holy being of God]; let the earth open, and let them [skies and earth] sprout forth salvation, and let righteousness germinate and spring up [as plants do] together; I the Lord have created it. (Is. 45:8)” This is our hearts’ cry.

You are so good to us, God. We are grateful to be living where we live. Thank You for this mighty Nation You established by men and women who wanted to honor You and live in a land governed by Your principles.

Please help us to thwart the demons who work tirelessly to bring us down. Please shower us with Your kindness and compassion. We are invincible when we band together in prayer, united in our love and devotion for You.
