I don’t hear any MSM asking about Obama’s doctrine of leading from behind... they were all over Bush about his supposed doctrine of preemptive action against those who would kill us... Pussy Obama simply knows that the safest place in a fight is behind somebody else. He is a coward and a race pimp hustler...

Thanks for your thoughtful prose. Of course time will tell if this is the civil war spoken of in Isaiah or not, but there is a general sense among many that we now occupy the final generation of the church era, so you most certainly could be right. This is well thought out and certainly appeals to a sense of the order of things and logic. Good stuff to prayerfully meditate on. Thanks.

Egypt's Prophesied Civil War

And to think, I thought this article was about ME predicting this a year ago on FR.

If UN troops go in they’re going to find out what the muslims mean when they say “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Did I get that right? Anyway, the muslims will stand together and destroy the blue helmets.

Someone will breach the Aswan dam and Lower Egypt will be washed away down to the rocks. This is not prophecy - just a common sense conclusion when you have a massive lake behind a dam at the mercy of the millions of crazies that live in the Middle East.

The end came 2,000 years ago. If it did not, Christ and the apostles lied.

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:14

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.

Romans 1:8

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past,  but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith;  to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.

Romans 16:25-27

...the gospel which has come to you, just as in all the world also...

Colossians 1:5-6

...the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven...

Colossians 1:23

How the Christian doctrine soon spread throughout the whole world.

Thus, then, under a celestial influence and co-operation, the doctrine of the Saviour, like the rays of the sun, quickly irradiated the whole world. Presently, in accordance with divine prophecy, the sound of his inspired evangelists and apostles had gone throughout all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. Throughout every city and village, like a replenished barn floor, churches were rapidly found abounding, and filled with members from every people.

The Ecclesiastical History of Eusebius Pamphilus.

Book 2, Chapter 3

Herein is the prophecy foretold by Christ, the fulfillment of which is written by Paul and verified by Eusebius. If the end did not come as Christ foretold, He is a false prophet and is not who He claimed to be. If Christ lied, He and everyone who died believing in Him did so in vain.

If He did not lie, then it behooves you to try to understand what He meant by “the end.” His apostles understood, and their understanding is in almost every book of the New Testament.

One more thing:

The prophecy over Egypt in Isaiah 19 is a prophecy of the Battle of Carchemish (605 BC), in which Egypt was defeated by Babylon, ending Egypt’s power and influence in the Levant.

The fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC came, in part, as a result of Egypt’s fall.

The prophecies you cited from Isaiah and Matthew have absolutely nothing to do with what Egypt or the rest of the world, for that matter, is experiencing now.
