I guess about the same thing as praying to Mother Mary to intercede rather than worshiping Yashua directly. He came that we can have direct access to G-d through Him. I understand the veneration of Mary, but ......

Let us approach the celebration

It is to be a remembrance. The Resurrection is The Celebration. Your man friend ATHANASIUS was not spirit filled and rejected Jesus when HE said REMEMBER ME and It's is Finished and I go to sit at the right Hand of The Father. And He's coming back to get HIS Own/His Bride/His Body and NOT .....the Word comes down into the bread and wine

It is Finished - so get over it! Learn to hear and obey THE Word! He is not coming down at the request of man. LOL!!!!!!! Those who reject the words of JESUS is bringing someone else down - Lucifer - who wanted to be like the most high. Lucifer now has his tribe that rejects Jesus' words, also.

I fell into it and needed a Savior to pull me out.

You were born into it.

She needed a Savior to prevent her inevitably falling into it.

She was born into it.

Both the person in the quicksand, and the person about to fall into the quicksand

ALL was born into it.

because on their own they would be lost.

They ARE lost until them come unto HIM, THE SAVIOR.

ok, i have my KJV Bible out, let’s see who the deceiver is:
Matthew 26:26 ...take, eat, this is my body”
Mark 14:22 ....take, this is my body”
Luke 22:19.....this is my body”
1Corinthians 11:24 ...this is my body which is for you”

now i know i am only a Catholic and everyone knows we don’t know the Scriptures, and you obviously are a Bible expert, so i may need a little help. i can’t find the quote you gave of what Yeshua said anywhere in my KJV Bible.

you wouldn’t be trying to deceive everyone would you??? please provide book, chapter or verse or forever lose whtever credibility you may have on this site. i have exchanged views with many people who oppose the Catholic Faith, but this is the first time someone has delibrately misquoted Jesus Christ and continues the deception after it is pointed out.

"But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness."
1 Corinthians 1:23

Nobody says that Christ is being crucified in the present. But Paul spoke of His crucifixion more than anything else, and we still portray it to remind us of His sorrowful death, the great sign of His sacrificial love for us, the great price He paid for us.

After all, a cross in itself --- a bare cross--- is not significant. It's a Roman instrument of torture and death. One might just as well have an electric chair up on top of the church steeple, or a noose. But that would be meaningless. It's the Lord Himself, His death, which makes the cross significant.

I have no problem with that. It’s just the empty Cross is more significant that one with a crucified Yashua on it is all I’m saying. He is risen, gone, off the Cross.

The scripture proves it.

It DOES?

All I saw was a spiritual Calvinosaurus that was created from bits and pieces of various verses.

Not very convincing.

Nice information; but it does answer the question:

And just WHEN did this event occur?

Are you REALLY trying to convince me that full of grace means that MARY was NOT part of the ALL have sinned?

Would you mind providing the scriptural citation of God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit sinning.

What kind of a rabbit hole did you drag THIS red herring from?

I would ask you to adequately consider the name and title God gave her in the angel's salutation:

Chaire, Kecharitomene (Link).

Such titles are always significant, Biblically, because they tell us how God Himself sees the person He has so graciously addressed.

Millions, tens of millions have called her "Blessed," as she prophesied that we would. (But some people never tire of calling her "Sinner Mary"!)

Your argument is so foolish feckless and frivolous that it is hard to imagine what keeps you from doing ‘the honorable thing’ when you stand in front of the mirror with your razor in hand.

I am going to let your personal attack so that everyone can see the truly "Christian" attitude of some of the protestants on this thread.

I did notice that you are unable to answer the question, maybe you can try this one: What sin has an unborn or new born child committed?

Take your time you may have to ponder it a bit.

Paul was speaking in the past tense. Crucified. He’s now risen. Why keep showing Him on the Cross is all I’m saying.

But the verb "preach" is present tense active, meaning that he/they continue to preach him as crucified.

Of course the quotes are right: this IS my body.

But, if it is as the RCC claims; would it make even MORE sense if He'd said, "This is my body, too."

For quite obviously HE was standing(?) there using the 'body' HE was born with.

And, if HE had NOT died yet and been resurrected, why on earth would the normal Passover bread be ANYthing other than normal Passover bread at that moment?
