She needed a Savior to prevent her inevitably falling into it.

Both the person in the quicksand, and the person about to fall into the quicksand

ALL was born into it.

because on their own they would be lost.

They ARE lost until them come unto HIM, THE SAVIOR.

I would ask you to adequately consider the name and title God gave her in the angel's salutation:

Chaire, Kecharitomene (Link).

Such titles are always significant, Biblically, because they tell us how God Himself sees the person He has so graciously addressed.

Millions, tens of millions have called her "Blessed," as she prophesied that we would. (But some people never tire of calling her "Sinner Mary"!)
