It's encouraging to see you finally find some scripture that's not in John 6 or Mat. 16:18 but now you just have to figure out how to get the Spirit to lead you in your quest of comparing scripture with scripture...Those you put together don't match at all...

Jesus created a Church, not a Bible. The Church under God's inspiration created the Bible - and under His guidance, included the Septuagint.

By the way, the passages make my point very well - both of them. If you or anyone else chooses to disregard His Church, well, then, you may explain it to Him, as we all must explain ALL of our life to Him at our Judgement.

Compiling the Bible is nothing to take great credit for.

Scripture was recognized as such before the Bible was compiled and claiming credit for it takes the glory from God.

Something it takes a lot of guts to do.

How do you know what we have to answer for at the Judgment?

Who gave you the inside line?

If you or anyone else chooses to ADD to what is in the bible....

My question is:

When you Catholics had the chance; why didn't you incorporate all these non-biblical teachings into the bible?

We Protestants would have NEVER known the difference.
