The Church under God's inspiration created the Bible - and under His guidance, included the Septuagint. Compiling the Bible is nothing to take great credit for.
Scripture was recognized as such before the Bible was compiled and claiming credit for it takes the glory from God.
Something it takes a lot of guts to do.

Evidently the history of the Council of Nicea is a fairy tale to some.
