Back in 2011, two posts on the Summorum Pontificum blog garnered multiple visits from multiple office locations and ISPs of the Department of Homeland Security:
Today, two different computers at the DHS Washington DC offices stopped in once again at the Summorum Pontificum blog:
Notice the link that lead them here?

Of course, we learned last year that DHS was monitoring social media:
Homeland Security watches Twitter, social media
Aren't we all glad to know that the DHS is actively monitoring the internet, watching out for terrorists foreign and domestic?

They do this in the rubrics of every Traditional Latin Mass:
Again, get your mind out of the gutter. This is the Religion Forum and your line of attack is frowned upon.

Today’s leftists seem to be in lock (or should that be goose) step with their idol, Saul Alinsky who dedicated his book “Rules for Radicals” to Lucifer. The left has been quite efficient at eradicating Christians of all denominations while pretty much slobbering over islamists and communists.

Real spies wont use networks that identify they are spying on you.

Not intentionally. But sometimes there are mess-ups.

There may also be 4Channers and such who spoof their personal networks to show the name DHS just to troll websites like this into thinking they are being spied upon.

Apparently they didnt teach you Occams razor where you got your doctorate.
You should at least ping me if you are talking about me.
Why would you think DHS isn't monitoring you? You are on a conservative website.
To: mnehring
The DHS is monitoring the Internet based on certain keywords and phrases. And because it’s been published they are doing so, they hardly need to sneak in.

ndividuals at the Department of Homeland Security seem to have a keen interest in Catholic prophecy. Theyve been regular visitors on my blog posts about Pope Benedict XVI and Catholic prophecy. Make of it what you will...
Or they're just gov't employees, wasting your tax grAu* on personal websurfing.

They are holding his vestments so they don’t touch the ground while giving communion. We have the same thing in the Anglican church and I think various Protestant denominations have a similar practice with vestments.

I have enough friends in federal law enforcement and the federal judiciary to know that this kind of visit is not random and is indeed originating from DHS. I ran the data by them in 2011 when the first swarm of multiple hits from multiple DHS ISPs first registered on my Stat Counter account, and they checked out.
Today’s visits could just be two random web surfers at DHS, but DHS is actively monitoring Christian conservative, pro-life, prophecy related blogs etc.
Even progressives have a conscience. I think the Obama admin and their lapdogs fear divine retribution.

They don’t monitor like this. What that shows is a physical visitor to the site. It is impossible for people to monitor every website. What they use is ‘bots’, little web programs that basically scan all websites in the same way Google scans sites. Bots show up specifically as a ‘webbot’ on these type of visitor logs (and most don’t give a name). What this shows is an actual computer visit (ie a person on a computer visiting versus just a program scanning).
If they didn’t do this, it would take the entire population of the US just to keep track of the billion or so facebook accounts alone if everyone watched multiple accounts, not to mention the billions upon billions of other websites.

You are seeing what you want to see. It is like a Rorschach test. One who sees buggery probably has buggery on the mind and is more a reflection of what is in the viewer than what is in the image.

Yes, I understand what you are saying, but I can’t imagine anyone from the DHS actually wasting time enjoying my husband’s articles (they haven’t the last seven or so years)... but anything is possible.

What that shows is a physical visitor to the site. It is impossible for people to monitor every website.Well then, I should be flattered. Maybe bot reports precipitate physical visitors upon further review?
I wish I had saved the screen shots from visits from the Maryland, WV, VA, and DC offices back in 2011. Sure seemed someone was bumping it up closer to HQ in DC each time they came back, till the multiple visits from the various DC ISPs at the time..
