President Obama began his Inauguration Day by attending worship services at St. John’s Episcopal Church in the Nation’s Capital along with his wife Michelle and their daughters Sasha and Malia.
It was a rare church appearance for the First Family. During, during their first four years residing in the White House, they found time for the Lord not even half as many times as they managed to get away for family vacays.
After services yesterday at St. Johns, during which the president stood to receive a blessing from Bishop Vashti McKenzie, the First Family’s next stop was the U.S. Capitol, where Mr. Obama delivered his second Inaugural Address.
What amazed was the number of religious references the president made as he spoke to the hundreds of thousands assembled on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and the millions more of us watching around the country.
It was so unlike Mr. Obama to speak of “the tenets of our faith.” To agree with the nation’s founders that we are all, everyone, “endowed by our Creator” with certain inalienable rights.
To declare “freedom is a gift from God.” To mention “the eyes of God.” To profess that the planet is “commanded to our care by God.” To advocate the freedom of “every soul on Earth.” To affirm his “oath to God and country.”
Then, to wrap up his remarks not only with the perfunctory “God bless you,” but also by beseeching the Almighty to “forever bless the United States of America.”
I’d like to believe that the President recently experienced some sort of religious transformation, like Saul of Tarsus blinded by the light of the Savior on the road to Damascus.
I’d like to believe that his recent church attendance and religion-infused Inaugural Address are tell-tale signs that he will govern in his second term according to Godly principles.
But, alas, I am unconvinced.
Not the least because of Mr. Obama’s reiteration of his presidential support for homosexual marriage.
“Our journey is not complete,” he said yesterday, “until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law. For if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well.”
I also found it noteworthy that Mr. Obama neglected to mention abortion, purposely ignoring the fact that the day after his inauguration is the 40th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s unholy decision in Roe v. Wade.
It would have been wonderful if the president had noted the anniversary and stood up for the right to life of the unborn the way he stood up for the supposed right of homosexuals to marry each other.
But the president was silent, signaling his continued support for the nation’s abortionists.
Jesus warned, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
President Obama said “Lord, Lord” in his Inaugural Address. But he most certainly is not doing the will of the Father.
My guess is a ‘religious’ person who actually went to church for some sort of religious need would not find it necessary to Tweet out his plans from the pew....
However, you can bet your bottom dollar when he’s in the Mosque, he’s all Allah, all the time.
Obama LOVES going to church. There is nothing BHO enjoyed more than listening to Rev. Wright’s venemous diatribes, vicious vomit, racist rants, and zany conspiracy theories. Put Rev. Wright back in DC and BHO will be attending church enthusiastically every week.
You know, it was nice of you to notice the problems with the Christian faith and the homosexual agenda. So at the risk of sounding snarky, did you notice that right after he talked about rights endowed by our Creator, that he immediately perverted those rights and inserted a mammoth government and “collective” in between us and our Creator?
Just sayin.....
Women’s right’s are more important than precious babes in the womb. Hope we don’t run out of wombs!

It’s called Taqiyya, which is a form of religious dissimulation, or a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts.
He’s a stinkin’ muslim.

He has always been a Muslim. If he pretends to be anything else then he is simply using Islam’s taqiyya (taqiyyah) principle.

Obama has found religion the same way Stalin found religion in October 1917. ... After the Civil War, Stalin founded a new religionm one in which he was “god”. Expect Obama to follow the same path if his agenda for a second term comes to fruition.

I am sure the kenyan has “got” religion. I don’t think it is a religion we might expect of an American president, though. One of his aides probably carries a prayer rug for the president wherever he goes.
Obama’s visit was not exceptional ~ they announced they offer gay marriages there so he had to attend to show solidarity with his gay brothers.
Communism is his religion, and he did not come upon it recently.
