Prayers for a lost pet
I will be honest, I am so not a snake lover, BUT I am a cat & dog woman & I know what peoples’ pets mean to them. Alice sounds like a sweetheart and I really will keep good thoughts that you find your baby safe & sound.
A light dusting of flour, cornmeal, or baby powder (baby powder won't attract bugs, might not bother Alice) in likely traffic areas might show where your baby has gone--or if it has been through a part of the house at all.
PS: Look up. Alice might have headed for high ground...
Can you get me up a posse of those Texas snake round up guys?
;]
Thank you.
This is my first missing pet and I’m not handling it well at all.
Well, good luck finding your snake.
No, not really.
I feel like a huge rock is sitting on my chest.
There’s no irresistible snake lure that anybody knows of except his waiting supper....*if* he’s within range to even smell it and *if* he’s not eating wild mice.
Snakes can’t hear so I can’t even call to him like a dog.
It’s pretty much a situation of helpless despair.
Thanks to you and hubby for your constant support.
Thank you...:)
Praying for you. Please do keep us posted. I hope he is found soon.
God help Alice if my neighbor finds him.
He’s the guy who came in my yard and weed-whacked all the garter snakes who lived near my Koi pond because he believed he was ‘protecting me’.
We should amend the prayers that Alice _stays home_ until he’s found.
:)
The place looks like we had an indoor blizzard of flour and corn starch.
There’s not so much as an ant track in any of it.
I’ve looked up, up, down, between, behind, inside, outside and in places so tiny a mouse wouldn’t fit.
Just no clue where he’s at.
Unfortunately, the nature of a Ball Python is revealed in their name.
When they’re scared, they just ball up and don’t move...and I know he’s scared, wherever he is.
Thank you.
If he shows up, I’ll make a huge, screaming-happy vanity post.
You won’t miss it...:)
I do hope you find it soon.
I’ll be praying. I have had 3 occasions where one of my dogs got out, and thankfully, I got them back at all times. Please keep us posted.
I know how much people love their pets and treat them like family. My heart goes out to you and will say a prayer that Alice returns safe and sound.
Please keep us posted. You came to the best place for support.
I don’t know any way to handle it well.
Are you serious?
He eats frozen mice because he can’t even strangle a live *mouse*, let alone a person.
He’s barely four feet long and not even 2 pounds.
Me either...:-\
