Considering the source, I would guess that, at the bottom of the Bishop’s ideas, is an embrace of homosexuality.
Absolutely agreed. The Episcopal Church must change. Getting rid of Bishop Schori would be a good start.
Embrace change and diversity? Today's Episcopal Church has gone way beyond "embrace" of those qualities into the realm of "shag" in positions unknown even in the Kama Sutra. As a result, that "2.4 million" figure is a pipe dream; the official tally today is well below 2 million . . . and falling like a rock.
the fag church wants to keep digging its way out of the hole it’s in.
If that’s true, then shouldn’t the Episcopal church have been exploding with growth since they started ordaining females? Instead, it’s been in steady decline. If one is liberal, I fail to see why he would want to give up his Sunday mornings to go hear what he could already hear from the media anyway.
You know why Episcopalians can’t play chess, don’t you?
“These churches are falling apart because of moving away from their traditions.”
These churches are falling apart because of moving away from the Bible.
There fixed it!
I belong to an Episcopal parish. An Episcopal priest, a legal immigrant born in Ecquador, has approached us to start a congregation at our church serving the local Hispanics. We think it’s a fine idea. They will conduct services according to the rites of the church in Spanish. No one’s going to be checking immigration status at the parish door, or at the altar rail. Our main concern is that they involve themselves in the life of the parish. We are not interested in “renting” space to them and having them be separate. If they involve themselves in the life of the parish then they will be welcome. IF they hold themselves separate then they will have to leave.
Well yeah; that was supposed to be synonymous. Not always, though.
Because they can’t tell the difference between a bishop and a queen.
Episcopalians used to be one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, and were a huge influence in America when this country was founded (almost all the founding fathers had ties to the Church of England) Now, they’re a shadow of their former selves and less than 2% of the population. So much for churches drawing more followers by being “less strict” and embracing socially liberal ideas.
“Wrong a zillion times over. These churches are falling apart because of moving away from their traditions.”

You are right.
I was the senior warden of a 150+ year old Episcopal church in Tennessee.
I left the church by 1990 when the gays started taking over
and turned it into a temple of homosexuality and leftist thought.
What use to be the finest denomination in the USA has been
destroyed.
Every fundamental institution in the USA is under siege.
The MSM is Communist. Public education is Communist.
I do not know so much about entertainment/TV since I left the country in 2004.
I do get Rush and Savage by internet, and now have FOX news, and, of course FR :)
I hear that a lot.
Bingo
“You know why Episcopalians cant play chess, dont you?”
They have no king on their side of the board.
Is the Bishop saying he needs more than just white people in the pews at Episcopal churches?
